This place is just so cool!! They make such a delicious variety of vegan pies and i like the fact that they leave out lots of tomato & bbq sauce for you. Lots of desserts to choose from. My favourite is the Eezy Cheezy Chikn pie! We also got the Purple Haze smoothie and it's soooo AMAZING and healthy. 💜💜

I found that the pies were good and delicious. But the sides were an extra $5.50 which they didn't mention when we ordered it and there was no prices inside. So after we ate, then found out the prices we both felt a little ripped off by the sides price. We should have gotten extra pie instead of mash potato as it was a bit plain in flavour and the pea's and gravy was a limited amount. I would return for the pies but no sides for me. Lol

Tucked away off the main drag, funky pies is a delicious vegan haven. Not only do they have a variety of savoury and sweet pies, they have some vegan grocery items like Daiya cheese and vego bars. The pie, mash, and peas combo is a good one, and the portions are just the right size.

The funky chunky pies are the greatest pies in the world, imo. It would satisfy any fan of meat pies but it's actually wayyyy better than a meat pie.

Well not a big pie eater, but Funky Pies was a knockout. Could see about 16 different pie with amazing fillings. I had a Rustic Bolog Pie filled with tempeh & lentils in a bolognese sauce. All pies served with either mash, peas and gravy or fresh salad. $12 or just pie $6:50. Had a great Aussie coconut shake served in the metal shake container $8:00 with organic coconut milkor with soy $7:00. Got the Happy Cow sticker of yeah totally vegan. Eastern subs vegans and vegetarians head there.

I would give this place 6 or 7 stars. As a former meat pie lover this place is a god send. All the pies I've eaten here are bloody beautiful. I'd eat here everyday if I lived in Bondi. Also very nice staff.

I came to this place to enjoy one or more of the pies . The guy at the counter was though very unhelpful: he did not propose me anything (not even asked if I wanted the side, which I would have liked to eat) and he coudn't suggest me anything to drink (I was told to look at the fridge). He just threw the pies in a plate and that's all. Anyway, the pies were really good. I tried 2 of them and vey were very tasty.

A tiny little place with a limited section of veggie pies, but don't let that turn you off! Though several are fake-meat pies multiple ones are not. Friendly staff, tasty food, inexpensive, satisfying. Bondi does have multiple veggie options, but this is still worth visiting.

Great vegan pies. The crust is light and flaky. Awesome flavor. the smoothies and juice were also very good. Peas and mash went great with the pie. A large amount of food for the price. Small seating area. Recommend!

We shared 6 pies and a sausage roll and everything was perfection. Stand outs were the "lamb" curry pie (seriously, how did they do that), chic'n cheesy pie and lentil sage pie. Will be back next time we're in Sydney!

Tried the Funky Chunky as recommended and it was awesome! Grab a bottle of cool, fizzy kombucha and you'll have a satisfying meal. Staff was friendly and smiley. Prices were reasonable. Highly recommended!

Had the chic and cheeze pie with mash, peas and gravy. Was great and I enjoyed the flavours of the rolls. Boyfriend dispointed that peas are whole and not mushy.
