Worth the hype

We’ve been wanting to go here for awhile, and thrilled to say that it did not disappoint! We got to meet the owner, Jake, who was incredible sweet and helpful in guiding our order: KFV bowl with gravy, side of mac, and the gochujang sandwich. Couldn’t be happier with what we got! The food was incredible flavorful, the fried mushrooms in the KFV bowl had excellent texture without feeling greasy or oily, and the cornbread with the apple butter was such an added bonus. We already can’t wait to go back!

Amazing meaty mushrooms

We tried the Classic Cajun sandwiches, the corn bread, the Chilli Mac, and the Philly fries. They were all amazing! The sandwiches were perfect combo of fresh slaw and meaty shrooms, and extremely flavorful.

Strongly strongly recommend trying them if you get a chance!

Pros: Delicious, Delicious , Delicious

So delicious. Looking forward to trying these guys again

I tried the Gochujang sandwich from their pop up at Berkeley Bowl West. I'm blown away. It's one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Looking forward to trying more from these guys. The jerky is delicious, too.

Pros: Many options, Fried mushrooms are tasty

Beyond fantastic

Where to start, fungi foods is a absolute must try, even if you think you hate mushrooms. I’ve had their food twice. Their No clucks given sandwiches hands down the best. Super fresh ingredients, super crisp and messy as heck(any great sandwich should be messy, personally option). The crabbie patties, you would never know that it was vegan. The second time I was able to try them, got the biscuits and gravy(one of the comfort foods I miss and haven’t had in over a year). It was Thanksgiving in your mouth, did a little dance with each bite. The biscuit was so fluffy and tender the key word, folks tender. The gravy was so creamy, but not way you down heavy.

I’ve tried a lot of mushroom jerky and fungi foods is definitely knows what they’re doing. It’s actually dangerous. Cause you can eat a whole bag in one sitting.

Pros: Everything is super fresh, Small business that cares about the customers, The guys are so friendly and polite

Cons: I wish they were closer to me

Fantastic 🍄‍🟫 Food 🔥

It’s weird how stuff comes up in my instagram feed. Well Fungi Foods did😜 Lucky for me they were at SF Veg Fest! Classic Cajun was one of the best sandwich’s I’ve had. I could eat that everyday😳 Looking forward to finding them at the Walnut Creek Farmers Market. Their IG is fun too.
