Good place all around

The Daryoush is found in a convenient location, was quite busy when we were there and you get to see one part of the kitchen where they roast the skewers, a possibility I always like a lot. This place is less a restaurant than a take-away, at least regarding its design.
I do like the result anyways. We shared the vegan daryoush plate which included two nicely spiced fake meat ones and one with grilled veggies. Additionally, it comes with either rice and salad or double rice, I’d suggest the option with salad if you’re not of the particularly hungry type. Special compliment for the service!
This is your place to go to if you’re looking for something cheap and simple!

Fantastic Persian vegan

This is a Persian restaurant made with love and so many vegan options. You will love the Koobiden made from impossible infused with Persian spices and basmati rice. Kashke bademjan without the dairy kashk is a beautiful appetizer. I can’t wait to keep coming back an trying every dish. A Diamond in Berkeley for authentic Persian vegan food and unique in all possibilities.

Pros: Amazing vegan options, The full experience from appetizer to dessert , Superb service

Update: June 17, 23

Daryoush has added black sheep lamb in kebab form. It’s is simply magnificent. We had a combo of impossible and black sheep (1 skewer each) and if you haven’t tried it, don’t walk, run and order.
Also, all the (stews) khoresh can be served with vegan meatballs. This makes daryoush the most vegan friendly and authentic Persian restaurant in the Bay Area.
