This group is a blessing

One of the major keys to success when making a lifestyle change is finding community. People who can support you, teach you, encourage you, and make you feel understood. That’s what Fun-Loving Vegans is for me; my vegan family. A place I can let me cruelty-free vegan flag fly high and proud, and even learn a few things I didn’t know before. We’re always on adventures to eat delicious food, attend exciting activities (i.e. yoga and beer on the Asbury boardwalk), or learn from leading experts (i.e. Dr Michael Greger live at Monmouth U). All of the members are likeminded, kind and inclusive. Isabela, the group leader, is knowledgeable, leads by example, and always comes from the heart. This group has been a blessing for me, and I’d strongly recommend it to anyone looking to make a positive life change.

Pros: Inclusive and welcoming members , Educational people and events, Tasty tasty grub

Amazing Group

I found this group over two years ago when I was looking for some people to eat tasty vegan food with. I ended up not only enjoying all the wonderful places to eat at but also finding some amazing people who share common views! They or only go out to vegan places to eat but also do fun adventures such as kayaking, escape room, beach picnics, attending vegan markets and more! I have only met kind and friendly people in this group. The group has all ages from 20s to 60s, so you will find people your age if you are concerned about that. But, no matter what age, everyone has something to bring to the table, such as life experience or advice. They are open to your suggestions on places to try as well, so bring all your ideas! This group is definitely a place to feel at home if you are feeling left out because of your lifestyle. They also have gone out for Thanksgiving for two years now to celebrate a vegan Thanksgiving as a group. It’s great if you are just visiting the area for a few days or even just during the summer or if you are a year round resident. This group offers fun all year!

Pros: Smaller group so easier to build relationships , Mostly weekend events

Cons: Some events book up quickly , Sometime events are on weeknights
