Magical Vegan Fine Dining - Edit
The food here is amazing! Non vegans would love it too. My husband is vegetarian and I'm vegan, so we booked a table here for our second anniversary. The ambiance is spectacular. Our server was very nice, and the food was really, really good. The portions are small, which is common with fine dining, however it's a little problematic with vegan food as it's not nearly as filling as the meat dishes at classic fine dining places. I had the sage ravioli which was excellent and my husband had the crepe. The restaurant is in a residential building and the parking situation is difficult, so walk (like we did) or take a cab. It's in the Costa Brava building. They don't have a sign or anything which is confusing, but I'm pretty sure that has to do with the building, and not the restaurant it self. Definitely check this place out! Its magical.
Pros: Romantic setting, Amazing food, Great service
Cons: Tricky to find, Small portions, A little pricey

superb, fine dining - Edit
Magical setting, with beautiful views. Delicious food, interesting menu. Excellent, patient and accommodating service. Thank you to our wonderful server, Eric and his helpful, courteous team. Thanks to Alessandro for a wonderful dining experience. Full Bloom is a gem.
It's in a residential condominium complex. Parking was a bit complicated.
Pros: excellent service, yummy, healthy food, beautiful setting
Cons: just need to know the parking situation in advance

Expensive, but luxurious - Edit
Great location with an amazing view of the Miami waterfront and skyline. It's not cheap though, so really only a place to go for a special occasion or a one-off visit to try. We had the mac 'n cheese (the only let down as it just tasted strongly of turmeric), the stuffed mushrooms, the ravioli (amazing) and the tofu dish. There was a full drinks list, including bubbles - all vegan off course, which was a great treat.
Pros: Good food, Heaps of options, Great service
Cons: Very expensive, Reservations required , Can be hard to find as it's located inside a b

Great food and friendly service - Edit
I arrived here without a booking just after the main chef had left as the last people had left about 20 minutes before. They welcomed me and Amuru (from Bolivia) was very accommodating and very engaging.
Tasty food, great service, great location and a lovely interior.
Catch s bus here
Pros: Customer service , Tasty food , Lovely interior
Cons: Bit of a walk from the main area of Miami Beach , Perhaps expensive - understandable given location

Delish vegan dish - Edit
Went here while on a biz trip to Miami. Food was delicious and the location is amazing. Overlooking the marina tou can watch boats sail and enjoy the calming ocean in the terrace seating area or enjoy and equally calming meal inside with the zen atmosphere and meditative music playing in the background. The owner Alexander is such a gracious and friendly host. As others mentioned you will need to make reservations as the restaurant is located in a doorman luxury building.
Pros: Location, Food, Ambiance
Cons: Need reservation , Parking can be an issue, Away from main miami beach area

No walk in possible - Edit
With high expectations we decided to walk to Full Bloom, look at the menu and eventually eat there. The restaurant is in an apartment building and there is no chance to pass the security guard if you are not on the reservation list. He recommended we should call the restaurant because of this new security politics... We are from Europe and I didn't want to spent money on a phone call with my cell phone. So we had to look for another place to eat.

We came here twice while visiting from the Chicago suburbs. We loved everything we ordered. Great ambiance, service and food. I only wish they would open a second location in Naperville IL for us!

Great food - Edit
The quality of the food is really great. I've been there 3 times: once for lunch and twice for dinner. The menu does change a bit between the two times, but most of the dishes stay the same. Their hummus trio, raw ravioli, and tempura portobello are really unbelievable. The only down sides are that I'm not a huge fan of their dessert (the chocolate ganache is sickeningly sweet) and the food is quite pricey. The food portions can be a bit small if you are used to large portions. They only serve enough for you to be satiated.
Oh and if you want to order wine, the servers can explain how it is all organic and obviously vegan.
The atmosphere indoors and outdoors is amazing. The outdoor seating is surrounded by water with views onto the Miami skyline, and the inside of the restaurant is very nicely decorated with plants and string lights.
Pros: Food quality, Location, Nice atmosphere
Cons: Pricey, Desserts are extremely sweet

Haven't eaten here. Not fully organic. - Edit
Spoke with someone over the phone and the guy said he couldn't say that most of the stuff was organic. Required to give overall rating so putting 2 because 2 means needs improvement and that's because of the organic-ness. However, again, I haven't eaten here.

exquisite treat - Edit
What can I say besides that is was an amazing experience all around. From calling on the phone for directions to exquisite food to a warm goodbye, this restaurant exceeded my expectations. I went with my mom (who isn't vegan) and she enjoyed it just as much. They even offered us complimentary gazpacho! Everything we ate from appetizer, entrees, and dessert was just plain delicious. The obvious thing is the price as it is very expensive. For that reason only this restaurant is more of a special treat rather than our go-to vegan place.

BEST RESTAURANT EVER!!! - Edit
I was in town from San Francisco on vacation. I searched for Vegan Restaurants and came across Full Bloom. I read the reviews and they were outstanding! A fellow Vegan friend of mine joined me as this was his first time dining here too. We ordered the Cheesy Brussel Sprouts appetizer, the Escar-NO stuffed mushrooms, the Green Curry Bowl, the Ravioli and Sage, and the Mocha Ganache w/ Cappuccino ice cream for dessert. It was the most amazing meal i have ever had. The dishes popped with flavor! You don't have to be Vegan to find your favorite dish on this menu. I will come back every year and i will send all my friends from Miami. In addition to good eats, the wine list was amazing, the restaurant itself is very modern and beautiful, the location was very peaceful ( i recommend sitting out back by the water) and best of all, our waiter was so sweet, compassionate and well informed about Veganism and food in General. I would love to see a Full Bloom open in San Francisco !!! I give this place an A++++++
Pros: FOOD, WAIT STAFF, LOCATION
Cons: NO CONS

This was such a good find in Miami beach! The food was exquisite and delicious! It was artfully plated and looked as good as it tasted. The service was excellent! Leave room for the chocolate ganache pie!

Beautiful location but not impressed. - Edit
Went here with my partner with high expectations. We had the Peruvian appetizer causa, the sushi roll, the pad Thai, and spinach gnocchi. The food was good and tasty but nothing outstanding that I could not make at home... It is a great place to bring nonveg people as it introduces them to familiar dishes without meat but we were really not impressed. With two appetizer and two entrees the total was 115$ including tip. Great owners but food was ok.

good vegan - Edit
my husband and I were at Full Bloom last evening. We were curious to try a gourmet vegan restaurant ( it was time to have one in Miami beach!!).
I wanted to try the raw menu and my choice of sprout salad with hemp seed dressing was very well presented and done.
My husband tried the raw vegan sushi and that was a very tasty and creative appetizer, too
I had then raw pasta alla puttanesca .I was happy of my choice because it was very well done, full of flavour and satisfying even though it was zucchini pasta. My husband wanted to try gnocchi 4 cheeses ( cooked) and that was a bit disappointing
to find that the flavour was not well done, not balanced, too sweety for something that promises "that" cheezy taste.
We ended with the tiramisu good, tasty and well presented, too.
I am grateful that 3 italian young men had the courage to open a gourmet vegan restaurant in Miami beach,it is a good start ( they opened August 2015) and we are sure they will be loved more and more.We will go back when we are in Miami again.
Pros: nice place, good tasty food, good service

The owner is Italian , and did magic with this place. Yes it's a gourmet restaurant but still It's down to earth. Lovely atmosphere & amazing view .. I was with 4 friends non vegan and they were in shock how delicious is vegan food .
We tried 6 -8 dishes , and all of them were super tasty .
The price is not that high for Miami !
Call the restaurant for parking if you come with car !!

Amazing!!! - Edit
Beautiful restaurant with amazing view. Everything is vegan! And it's all so tasty! We ordered several tapas and loved them all. Lots of variety. And they have lots of vegan drink options including wines, beers, rum, tequila, and more. Everything was great including the chocolate lava cake! Can't wait to go again.
Pros: awesome vegan menu, lots of vegan cocktails , great atmosphere

Fantastic food, friendly people, amazing view! - Edit
Full Bloom is a gift to the food scene in Miami. Don't be put off by the difficulty finding the place - it is well worth the strange location in a residential condo.
Ride your bike or drive and park on the street and walk in. Phone ahead for a reservation and you won't have to sign in with security. Even if you drop in, signing with the fellow at the door is a small price to pay for the final product.
The food is great, the wait staff and the owners are lovely. The reservation you make should be on the patio so you can enjoy the spectacular view of South Beach.
We need these guys to succeed so do go if you are at all inclined. A fully vegan offering is good for you, the animals and the planet. Amazingly, they also make it taste great!
Pros: food choices, friendly staff, view to die for
Cons: location, parking

holy crap! totally disgusting! - Edit
We ate there the other night for my birthday. Of the 5 entrees, we sent 3 back. Overall, food was either totally bland (the channa masala), totally disgusting (the porcini ravioli, lava cake), or over salted (some kind of noodle dish, one of the appetizers).
It was a Monday night and they were out of a few things, which is understandable.
One of the most important things was the service. When we mentioned that we found a few things unappetizing, we were told that they were prepared correctly and we just don't have the palate. I find this difficult to believe since we prepare better food at home.
Also note that they only have a beer and wine license, so they have no hard liquor.
Quite disappointing. Wish I could rate it one star but the minimum is two...
Pros: beautiful restaurant
Cons: terrible food, weird service, difficult parking

Elegant dining experience - Edit
I had not been to a vegan restaurant until I went to Full Bllom for dinner while visiting from Chicago. It was so refreshing to be presented with a lengthy menu that included a diverse flavor profile. As a new vegan I have been ordering salads and side dishes at most restaurants but I felt "home" again in a beautiful fine dining restaurant where I could order anything I wanted. The owners encourage visitors to call ahead to provide the best transportation option as parking can be challenging. And, if you enjoy key lime gelato, the homemade dessert is not to be missed.
Pros: Comfortable, Lots of options , Outdoor waterfront seating
Cons: Parking challenging

Vegan Fine Dining - Edit
This place is beautiful and the food is innovative and taste good. However, it is quite expensive. For a three-course meal you should expect something like 75$ per person, so this is the kind of place you should go for a special occasion.
Pros: Excellent food, Beautiful view

Highlight of my trip! - Edit
A delicious, beautifully located treat! The menu was varied, colourful and full of flavour. My entire family, none of whom are vegan bar myself, raved about it, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Easy to find, I thought, contrary to other reviews, and Uber was cheap from our hotel. I had a delicious layered potato and avocado dish to start, tempeh with rainbow quinoa for my incredible main (the most delicious tempeh I've ever had!) and the mind blowing mocha salted caramel chocolate lava cake for desert. Great food selection, wine selection and cocktail. Can't stop raving about it!
Pros: Beautiful outside seating, Varied menu, Conscientious service

I ate at the full bloom this evening. The food was amazing, healthy and well well cooked. A real, fine, vegan restaurant in Miami beach, the first one! The place was also spectacular. From your table you have a sensational view of Miami.

Delicious food, pleasant and knowledgable staff!! - Edit
We live in NYC where there are quite a few vegan options, in Miami on vacation and found this little gem on Happy Cow. It was WONDERFULLLLL and it thoroughly deserves its 5 stars! I disagree with previous reviewer who took stars off for the parking situation and the fact that you can smoke outside here. It is legal to smoke in outside dining areas in FL and why should there not be the choice? Not all vegans are non smokers....
Back to the restaurant, the staff here are lovely!! Our server was vegan himself and really seemed to care about the restaurant and easily answered all our questions on the menu. I love that they care. He recommended some specials to us-my husband had the potato gnocchi with Milanese sauce (YUMMMM) and I had the tempeh scallopini with mushroom sauce-DELICIOUSSSSS! This was the best tempeh that I have ever had!!!! The atmosphere was very pleasant too, we sat outside with views of the water and little tea lights hanging from the tree branches.
All in all, i highly, highly recommend this place for vegans and non vegans alike. We will be back.
Pros: Delicious Food., Pleasant, knowledgable staff., Lovely dining atmosphere.

Good Vegan Food but 3 Disappointing Factors - Edit
We were a party of 4 last night when we dined at Full Bloom. It was pricey but I am honestly fine with paying more for vegan food than I paid for fine dining prior to becoming a vegan. It is a beautiful setting and we were offered outside seating. I was so excited until I received a response from this question: is the outside dining area non smoking? The waiter's response was : No, Florida law permits smoking in outside dining areas. Yes, that is true but it does not MANDATE it! Really, vegans are very health conscious people. I along with the majority of vegans became a vegan to promote healthy living. On what planet are you from to even consider allowing smoking anywhere that your patrons are dining. We got a table inside, it did have a view but not the view we would have enjoyed dining on the terrace. We ordered 2 appetizers- the plantain kabobs and the tempura. They were good but not excellent . The tempura had a sauce that was very fishy. For dinner one person had the fajitas ,he rated them on the low end of good. Nothing memorable and really not much to eat. I along with my friend ordered the eggplant dish. It was covered in panco crumbs and served with a delicious side salad and a diced vegetable dish. We agreed it was good but really lacked a sauce. We found the covering it with the salad greatly improved the dish. The last person ordered the special entree of the night -gnocchi . He was pleased with it and said they were good. Before dinner we were treated with a complimentary small taste of a cold gazpacho . It was delicious but salty. We did not have dessert because we were meeting another group later that evening. When our bill came I was very disappointed that a tip would be added to our check without the waiter telling us. I did not see this announced on the menu and honestly, we were a party of 4 not 6!This was somewhat offensive to me and my fellow diners. I am fine with a gratuity being added but I feel I should be informed. The last disappointing factor concerned parking. I do not live in the Miami area and therefore unfamiliar with the restaurant location. Two hrs. before our reservation I noticed a miss call from the restaurant. I called back and was informed there is no parking at their building and I could park at the Standard Hotel. It took about 30 min.to find because the sign for the hotel is located on the side and it was hung upside down! I was shocked that we were charged $30 for 2 hrs! We should have been told of this price!!
Pros: All vegan, Fine dining
Cons: Smoking allowed outside, Parking choices are expensive, Automatic tip added w/out informing

Excellent Restaurant & Wonderful Plant-based Food - Edit
Full Bloom is a great vegan restaurant located in a residential high-rise on Belle Isle. It is well worth the short taxi ride from South Beach and to see the lovely bay and sunset views.
We are both vegans so going to Full Bloom was one of the highlights to our SoBe visit. The restaurant has a nice décor and the food is delicious. We had the eggplant steak with corn relish and salad and the second entrée was the soft tacos with wonderfully sautéed vegetables and salad. Even though the restaurant only opened in early August, service and food were wonderful. We will definitely be back when we next visit SoBe.
We highly recommend Full Bloom to all vegans and also people willing to try something other than unhealthy meat-based dishes. Thank you to the owners and staff for creating a great plant-based restaurant!

Mi dolce vida! - Edit
Thanks to you Full Bloom. Thanks to you. What used to be a wasteland of carnivores and rednecks and monumental moribund monstrosities of anti-mother nature miscreants is now home to my new favorite vegan restaurant in North America... Sorry Au Vivres Montreal. The distinction now lies with Full Bloom, the view for one, the staff for two, the food forever. Never leave me. A special place reserved in my heart like The Spy Who Loved Me, sheik, demure, sanguine, bathyculpian, and sheer perfection! Edible serendipity! Try everything. Vegan Tiramisu. This my friends is the spot. Venire una volta, venire mille volte! That's all I have to say about that. You rock Miami. Many blessings!

*Read end of review for parking tip*
Absolutely perfect! Everything about this place is amazing! The food, the service, the view, the restaurant itself! Each thing we ordered was spectacular. Highly recommended the plantain shish kebabs! The special tonight was an Alfredo pasta- wonderful! The deserts are ALL good! The lava cake, well, takes the cake! You will enjoy every part of this view now matter what time of day.
The only issue is parking. They are brand new and inside a condo. There is no advertisement of the restaurant as you are driving and trying to find it. It is up the driveway of address #11 on island drive. However you can't park there. Best place to park is on Purdy avenue over the bridge. There's a little park with public parking. About a 5 minute walk, it's a lovely walk, so deal with it! Once you get inside you will realize how much that tiny walk was worth!
