While traveling through Ohio and Pennsylvania on our way to Princeton, NJ, we were looking for a vegan-friendly place that stayed open late. Thanks to Happy Cow, we discovered this charming restaurant close to Bedford, nestled in Pennsylvania’s Allegheny range.

The restaurant is part of a historic resort dating back to the early 19th century. Had we arrived earlier in the day, we would have enjoyed exploring its beautiful, sprawling grounds.
We mentioned to our waiter that Happy Cow had led us there and showed him the app — which, surprisingly, many people still don’t know about! It’s such a helpful resource for plant-based travelers.
Pros: Two vegan dishes, Cosy tavern ambience , Friendly and efficient staff
Cons: The coconut curry dish was just a little bland
