Vegan Options in Essen Hbf - Edit
A fast food restaurant that's a great way to satisfy your hunger when you're short of time and you're about to miss your train. Several vegan options available. It's also possible to eat on the spot, although it's quite small. It works like this: you order at the ATM and, as it's super fast food, your order is ready in less than 2 minutes. It's worth it if you want to satisfy your hunger and are in a hurry.

It's hard to get proper vegan food at the central station in Essen... - Edit
... and besides the big M, Subway and a bakery where you can get at least something vegan, there's another outlet of the Frittenwerk franchise located here for a few months now. I mean, it's also just unhealthy fast food, but if you don't want to go to one of the other places (which would be totally understandable), you can't do much wrong with a bunch of fries. I just wish that they'd also upgrade the vegan options on the menu, like the other outlet located here in Essen, where there are at least five vegan options available now, instead of just three. So, if you're searching for halfway decent, healthy vegan food, nothings changed here at Essen central station, but if you crave fast food, there's one more option now.
