Great Little Bistro - Edit
My wife and I were hungry after the ferry from prince Rupert and Port Hardy. Driving through Campbell River at lunch time, seemed like the perfect opportunity to check out Fresh Start. We love supporting the “mom and pop” plant based community and this place didn’t disappoint. We shared an order of tacos and a pizza. The tacos were supper fresh tasting and loaded. The blended salsa that came with them was a fantastically great accompaniment, just the right amount of heat, salt and citrus.
Read moreThe pizza was a build your own creation, which appeared to be the only option and the chef/owner told us he loves making pizza. The dough was fantastic and the topics generous.
Definitely a place we would frequent again the next time we pass through.

The rose fettuccini was out of this world!!! The carrot cake, pumpkin pie, and nanaimo bars were amazing as well! My boyfriend had the beyond meat burger and it was a little boring however. Otherwise, 10/10. Vegan decor as well.

We had big hearty salads, ice tea and cinnamon rolls and everything was delicious! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again next time I'll be back in town!

Blown away by the food & the service ! They offer a good variety of gluten free options, everything is made from scratch & they use little to zero plastic. The owner was absolutely incredible. His kind, fun & charismatic soul enhanced our experience big time. If I wasn’t a traveller passing through I would stop in almost everyday !!

All vegan and gluten free bistro. Have several non dairy milk options. Very yummy food which is fairly affordable. They have daily food specials and serve baked goods. Super delicious and cute little seating area. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere over all.
