confident it was vegan - Edit
They gave me confidence that the chips were vegan, cooked separately and then labelled vegan in the box.

Vegan chippy chips! 😍 - Edit
It’s been quite some time since I’ve had chips from a chippy due to cross contamination and it was a very nice surprise to find a chippy that actually goes to the trouble of catering for us by cooking them separately. For those chips to be of a such a high standard made me extremely happy. Add to that the fact they sell vegan sausages (which were slightly odd tasting but not the worst I’ve ever had), sweetcorn fritters (very nice), vegan burgers and vegan gravy (neither of which I had), this is a massive thumbs up and is highly recommended. They also cater for gluten intolerance.

Really good chips - Edit
Vegan options are sausage (the batter isn't vegan), veggie burger and sweetcorn fritters. Gravy is vegan.

A couple of options, great chips - Edit
Two options for a vegan main, a veggie sausage and a veggie burger. The sausage was quite honestly one of the worst I've ever had in 4 years of being a vegan. Didn't try the burger. The chips are great however.
Read moreThey also have pineapple fritters and fry their vegan stuff in a separate GF fryer so no cross contamination. The downside of this is that they stop serving Vegan and GF food an hour before closing to begin cleaning it.

Well nice chips - Edit
Cooked fresh, gluten free and vegan labelled, and some of the nicest chips I've ever had. Other options too but I'd already had lunch and was about to have my dinner...so it was only meant to be a small snack!

Great that there was vegan options - Edit
Nice spot to get fish and chips when visiting the Norfolk coast.
Read moreIt’s great that there was somewhere we could get vegan options in a fish and chip shop.
I had sausage and chips with mushy peas, which was ok, the sausage and mushy peas were tasty but the chips only get a 3 as they’re not as good as chips from seahouses (Northumberland) because I seemed to get lots of little scrappy chips. Maybe we got the end of a batch??
Still worth a visit if visiting!!
Pros: Vegan options, Friendly staff
Cons: Not all vegan , Not the best chips

Vegan choices from the chippy - Edit
A nice surprise in this vegan-desert of a town, at least two vegan options on the menu - bean burger and battered sausage. And the chips are delicious!

Great clearly labelled menu - Edit
Lots of veggie/vegan options with a clearly labelled menu, including curry sauce which isn’t always vegan! Can get vegan sausage & battered, can have the sauce on its own cooked in separate fryer as a vegan option. The batter is vegan too it’s just that it’s cooked in the same fryer as the fish.
Read morePros: Their menu is really clearly labelled, Very responsive to FB message question, Curry sauce!
Cons: Veggie battered sausage cooked w/fish

Battered sausage and chips by the sea - Edit
We had a lovely battered sausage, Pineapple fritter and chips with curry sauce. Sausage is cooked in with the fish but veggie burger and pineapple fritter is cooked separately if requested. They can't cook the sausage separately as it contains gluten and use gluten free fryer as vegan option.
Read morePros: Always a long queue
Cons: No separate fryer for the sausages
