Oregon-born since 1931 and bought by Krogers in 1998, this hypermarket chain and now operates outlets in several US western states. Sells a wide range of foods and home goods. Stocks mostly conventional foods as well some natural and health food brands in dedicated sections. Has bulk foods section, chilled and refrigerated foods, dairy-alternatives, and meat-alternatives. Open Mon-Sun 7:00am-11:00pm.

AMAZING

Fred Meyer is now my favorite place to do grocery shopping due to their large selection of vegan items. They have a separate part of the store dedicated to only natural items, including food, household, and beauty items. There are always multiple sales going on in the natural food section and everything else is decently priced. I also found vegan bread in the regular bakery section, so that was a nice surprise.

Pros: Best prices, Large selection, Great deals
