Menu Change, Added Lots of Dairy - Edit
It's a shame to see the recent change towards including dairy. This has been the place to get the best vegan food in town, great food overall. Now it feels soured. There's now even a dish that will not be made vegan, vegetarian only.

I love their lunch special! You choose any two items from a little list and you get a lemonade. Right now they have a lemongrass tofu wrap on there that’s so fire and unique to the city. Also the queso appy is one of my faves in town!
Read moreI read an article where the owner/chef said something along the lines of “we’re not that weird vegan restaurant” and that’s why they still serve eggs and idk that rubbed me the wrong way. When people refer to them as a “vegan” restaurant it drives me a little nuts considering they basically mock vegans

We absolutely LOVE this restaurant! Food is always delicious and they have a great daily lunch deal. Fantastic menu (would be better if 100% vegan) but it is almost completely vegan. Definitely recommend coming here 🫶🏽

We went to this restaurant for dinner and had one of the best experiences ever! The staff was really great, the food absolutely delicious (we've tried lots of vegan mac and cheese in our lives, here it was by far the best) and the taste every dish was perfectly balanced!

The food was so good that my friends from Vancouver jokingly started discussing options with the waiter to open another „Frankie …“ there. (He told us that the owner actually started off in Vancouver, where they have a more higher end restaurant, which I forgot the name of - sorry.) Esspecially the cheese burger left an impression on my partner.
Read moreWe were a bit confused by the restaurant being labelled as „vegetarian“ and then not seeing any indicators of wether or not a dish is vegan or not. But that was cleared up very quickly as the menu is completely vegan! However they also offer the option of eggs on the weekend, which all in all makes them a vegetarian, and not a vegan, restaurant.

Went for Happy Hour and enjoyed discounted chickpea fries, sweet corn queso, and a glass of Sangiovese. For our mains, we thoroughly enjoyed the Butternut Squash Cortecce (I can’t believe it’s vegan), the Frankie Cheeseburger (made with mushrooms), and the Chorizo Ranchero Bowl (amazing house made chorizo).

Read moreThe food was amazing and service was wonderful. The menu items were difficult to decide between. My cousin had the Mushroom cheese burger, my husband who is eating vegan much more often has the Bali Peanut Satay with tofu and I had the chorizo ranchero bowl. The chorizo was was made in-house and was wonderful. I am not sure what kind of vegan cheese was on the burger, but my cousin said t was tasty.
We will be back at the end of the week when we return to Kelowna.

Adorable and tasty little spot, a short drive from the airport. It is located in the far corner of a strip mall parking lot, so a teeny bit tricky to find, as we were without data/wifi. We had a selection of 4 appetizers - chips and queso, eggplant bao buns, squash tacos and chickpea fries. Drinks were great, too.

We visited on wing Wednesday and they have a great deal on wings & burgers for 2. Had the pad Thai and green noodle bowl and both were fantastic. We have a 1-year old and they have high chairs and a kids menu with great non-typical options. Our boy had brown rice stir fry with broccoli and chickpeas. Highly recommend!

Read morePurchased 2 hamburgers and 2 chirazo bowls. Burgers were tasteless and buns were terrible. Fries were good burgers only gave about 20 of them. Chirazo bowl...1 tasted moldy and had half the amount of food. Most of the staff is welcoming but I think it's the manager who is dismissive and unpersonable.
I won't be back.

After traveling across Canada, having more than 1 option on the menu as vegan was appreciated. A party member with celiac concerns was able to dine with us without stress as well. The staff is great and has good suggestions for folks with allergen concerns.

Whether it’s Non Alc Elixirs, Alc Cocktails, Appetizers, Soups, Sandwiches or Bowls, this place is constantly creating new and delicious additions to their already solid menu. Never have I been disappointed. I make a rule to always have at least one meal at Frankie’s whenever I visit the Okanagan. The staff is terrific as well
