Wonderful place to stop - Edit
We were headed west from NJ to do college drop-off in Indiana and looked for a place off the PA turnpike - planned ahead and glad we did! Jewish Flair to vegan sandwiches and incredible baked goods. Challah bread. Well ventilated with fans and open doors so we felt safe despite Covid.

Food good, people nice, portions generous, but food took about 45 minutes to be served. Not a big place, shouldn’t have taken that long.

Who’s have guessed the best vegan restaurant in the world is in Washington PA?? - Edit
I’ve eaten in vegan restaurants all over the world and this is by far the best. We b-line to Fortuitea every time we’re in town visiting family. It’s all amazing but especially loved the mac and cheese and meatball grinders I tried last week. Just amazing good fresh food and friendly folks. Non-vegans love it too! Go!!!

I can't say enough about this cafe! The staff makes you feel like you're part of the family, the tea and coffee selection is immense and delicious, and the food.. the food! I haven't visited a restaurant where the food is so consistently amazing. I couldn't recommend this place more!

Hidden Vegan Gem! - Edit
We were in Pittsburgh for vacation and stopped here on our way back home. We heard raving reviews from everyone back home about this place and they definitely didn't disappoint! We would give this restaurant extra stars if we could! And if this place was closer to where we were staying we would've gone there every day. Everything on the menu sounded delicious but since we had a long drive home we couldn't order everything unfortunately! So we decided to get the margherita pizza, buffalo mac n cheese, plain mac n cheese for our toddler, cherry iced tea, kombucha, oreo cupcake, French toast gob, and pumpkin gob. We were too full to eat everything (even though we wanted to!). Everything we ate was AMAZING!!!! And our toddler loved his mac n cheese and cupcake! All the ingredients were fresh and everything was made with great care. Great tea and coffee selection too! We really wish we lived closer so we could come back often! The owners were so friendly and welcoming and we wish them great success for many years! We will be back for sure! We love finding awesome vegan restaurants and this one has made it on our list!

Found this place during a business trip and thank goodness! Not many vegan options in the area I was staying. Lots of impossible burger options, I had the CASHEW MAC ATTACK BURGER. Sooo Good! Make sure you check the burger prices, some may think it’s too expensive. Everything else is reasonably priced.

Great Vegan Cafe! - Edit
I was traveling from NYC to Ohio and found this place on Happy Cow which is about half way in between. So glad we found it, 100% vegan, everything was amazing! Seems like it’s in the middle of nowhere, but it’s not too far off the highway. Will make this my go to when making that trip in the future!

honestly the best. - Edit
The owners are the nicest people I’ve ever met. Everything on the menu is gold... especially the buffalo “chicken” dip. Their cashew Mac is amazing and all their burgers are killer. Meatballs superb. Sandwiches and delicious. Millet loaf and mashed potatoes and gravy is amazing. My goal is to try everything they have on the menu. I’m about half way through and so far everything is soooo tasty. Also they have a huge selection of teas and coffees. If you like almonds I would suggest the almond cookie green tea. It smells like almond cake and tastes like heaven.

Great spot off of the highway for a vegan treat! - Edit
Used my HappyCow app to find this amazing restaurant while on a road trip. The man we took my order was very helpful and pleasant. I got the apple and cheddar sandwich with sweet potato chips. I also got a soy chai as well as a cookie and cinnamon roll for the road. The food was delicious. I did visit on a Sunday afternoon and their bakery cases didn’t have a s many options as I was hoping for, but again I think I didn’t visit at the best time of day or the best day of the week since I think it was their slow time and they were doing inventory. Either way, I was glad I stopped and pleased with the overall experience experience!!!

We stopped here on a long drive from Philadelphia to Indianapolis, as it was conveniently located at the halfway point. I was so happy to find a vegan place at all, let alone one with excellent food! I had the jackfruit brisket sandwich and my boyfriend had the stuffed banana pepper sandwich. Both were delicious! We also got the ice cream "Brain Freeze" for dessert (like a DQ Blizzard, ice cream with things blended in). There was a case of yummy-looking pastries but we didn't get any of those (wish we had though!). Cute place and friendly owners. Definitely recommend.

Amazing Little Place - Edit
Went there today with my non-vegan kids and they loved the food as did I. Service was top notch and I chatted with the owner a little bit before leaving. I struggle with social anxiety and agoraphobia so the fact I was able to be personable with the owner says a lot about his vibes and overall demeanor. We had the cashew mac n cheese, jackfruit brisket, and cinnamon rolls. Everything was absolutely amazing and I plan to order a birthday cake from them next month.

High-quality food - Edit
Living in Pittsburgh without a car, I rarely make it down to Washington to patronize this vegan restaurant. I did so this past week and had a side salad and pepperoni pizza. The salad was not the typical head lettuce and slice of hot house tomato dish. See the photo. The pizza was also great tasting. Probably not the healthiest vegan food to eat but great for new converts looking for familiar food. I also had the cinnamon roll for dessert. Ditto for that.
