Loved Everything - Edit
I came here a few months ago (September 2023) and had a lovely experience. The owners were extremely friendly and the food was impeccably good. I wish I could go here more often but I’m not local. Wonderful stop on a drive!

Wow - Edit
Best pierogis I’ve ever had. I got the breakfast pierogis (with impossible sausage and just egg) and my friend got the traditional ones with caramelizad onions. Great coffee choices (so many!) and some of the nicest people who run the place. A hidden gem!

I got some Gyro Mac with beyond burger instead of mushrooms. Definitely the best vegan food I’ve had by far !! Was a little more pricey than I was expecting but well worth it .

Vegan gem! - Edit
The food is amazing. Ate too quickly to take pictures. Took delicious desserts to go. The coffee was a dark roast, freshly ground. The owner is so lovely and you can tell puts love in her food. Other patrons said they come here all the time and have never had one bad choice on the menu!

Awesome vegan cafe - Edit
We made the trip down from Pittsburgh this afternoon. The cafe is super cute. We had the bruschetta, pizza and panini. Everything we had was out of this world. All of the desserts we had were delicious, too. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a short drive from Pittsburgh and so worth the trip. I’ve been vegan for decades and this is one of the best vegan restaurants I’ve visited. Very kind staff. Amazing tea selection, too!

VEGAN NIRVANA. - Edit
There were a lot of options and they put the effort into mastering dishes that you really don't see. Heartfelt, soul food. I would highly recommend going if you are considering being vegan and aren't sure if you could make the transition or if you've been curious about veganism. The owner is delightful and more than happy to make recommendations. The desserts are out of this world. Wonderful people, amazing food

Never disappoints - Edit
This is my second time going to this place and it was so delicious. Am not a local but went here the last time I was in town visiting relatives. The tea options are awesome as well as the food and desserts. I got one of their burgers and the flavor combos for all of them sounded so good it was hard to choose. I really enjoyed my southwest burger and my tiramisu dessert. It was quite expensive and there are no prices on the menu currently. It also took a while to get our food but they were quite busy. The rest of my family is not vegan and they all loved their menu items, especially the house made pita bread.

Fabulous Fortuitea! - Edit
Stopped while driving through Washington. This place is absolutely a gem. We always slam. A lot of love and care goes into the food. From the homemade noodles to the fabulous baked goods they execute everything they attempt! The Perogies special was a crowd pleaser. Their Mac is outta this world (the house made coconut bacon chips on top push this dish into Rockstar status). The Impossible Gyro is brilliant. We have been here a few times and have barely scratched the menus surface. They always have good specials. Oh and the baked good case...an absolute must. We always find ourselves stuffed form the meal so get the baked goods to go. ALSO the coffee and Tea selection is DEEP! Beautifully displayed and brewed to order. An unreasonably thoughtful touch.

Best Vegan Restaurant Ever! - Edit
I was traveling to Washington, PA for a family wedding and was very excited to find a vegan restaurant right down the street from the hotel. I ended up getting food from here three times in two days because it was so good! The breakfast sandwiches are works of art with the homemade bread. I also had an open faced meatloaf sandwich that melted in my mouth. I even took a deep dish cheeseburger pizza to go because I couldn't get enough of their food. My son also enjoyed the mac-n-cheese. The dining area is very cluttered but I think it adds to the charm of the place. They basically make everything from scratch in house. There's also a wall of different teas and coffees to choose from. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. If you're anywhere in the area it's definitely worth the trip. Just be ready to wait because not much is pre-made so it takes a while for them to prepare the dishes. Hands down one of the best vegan restaurants I've ever been to and I've been vegan for 8 years!!

Fantastic food and service! - Edit
Food was fantastic and the staff was very kind and thoughtful. Lots of fresh ingredients! Mac Attack Burger is a must try, best burger I have had in a long time! Mac & cheese is the most saucy Mac I have ever had! Only downside was it was more expensive than expected, I would like to see prices on the menu so no surprise at checkout.

Questionable food handling - Edit
This spot had some really good reviews and was a stone’s throw from my motel, so I thought I’d check it out. While the food I ordered was good, I was very uncomfortable after seeing how they handle food while I was waiting. They display their flatbread pizzas on top of the bake case out in the open air, which even if those are (hopefully) for display only, that seems very unsanitary. Also a couple of workers handled the food with their bare hands. The sit down area needs some serious organizing since all their supplies are cluttering the area. Hopefully with some basic but crucial adjustments, this place can reach its peak potential.

Why is this listed? - Edit
I drove over to try to find this place. The given address takes you to a place called Quail Acres, which has a panoply of little shops in several buildings. I got out and looked all around -- and found nothing named Fortuitea. No vegan restaurants. No bakery.

You were so close. It’s in the Quail Acres cluster of shops; you probably were standing right behind it. It’s definitely a confusing place to find on the first try, and most definitely worth the effort to return. Their food is fabulous.

WOW!!! - Edit
I planned my route from New York City back to Ohio (thank you Happy Cow!) especially to visit this wonderful establishment based on their menu and reviews! The food is beyond incredible! Carnivores would love it as much as vegans and their meal experience might even contribute towards conversion 😉🙏! Cannot say enough about the homemade vegan/gluten-free bread also! Most every menu item has a gluten free option!! 🥰 And their mac and cheese with caramelized onions, broccoli, and vegan bacon was the best I have ever had! I don’t think you could go wrong with a thing on the menu! As indicated in the restaurant’s name, it is also a lovely tea shop. They hand pack your tea bag with tea of choice and my choice was blood orange… Wonderful! The staff was personable, professional, and just plain fun to talk with! So wish this restaurant was near my home!! 🌱💖❤️

Great food in a perfect spot! - Edit
I've driven through "Little Washington" many times traveling between the midwest and east coast. I'll plan future trips around being able to stop at this spot for lunch on the way since there is otherwise nothing this convenient between central Ohio and the DC area. The falafel pita was really tasty, and they aren't skimping on portion sizes. It isn't the nicest looking restaurant you'll visit, but don't let that keep you away. A real treat on an otherwise uneventful day in the car!
