Quite pricey

Went there to buy pizza. Pizza finished. So ordered rojak and fries. Rojak was in a small box, not even half the box was filled. Other usual items you may as well go to shu vegetarian which is just say 200 m away and you only pay half the price. This shop isn't cheap. Food is average.

Pros: Has western items

Cons: Expensive , May not have all items when u order

Wide variety of dishes

🇸🇬 Been a while since I visited 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬, a #vegetarian casual restaurant that serves a wide variety of dishes. 𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 and 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗵𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶 ensured that I had the best of both East and West😁

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Wide variety of vegan options

Earlier had yummy lunch in the Woods. Sat outdoor and quite likey the atmosphere and the heat hahaha 😋 We had the below:

✨ Vegan satay bee hoon - the satays are made of monkey head mushroom. Love the thick peanut sauce & so craving for it again!

✨ Chilli “crab” bun - The sauce contain egg and can be veganised. Taste sweet and delicious with the bunsss!

✨ Stir fry french long bean - They are so goooooood. We all love it.

✨ Herbal soup - taste herbal-ish and comforting. Think it was old cucumber soup or something haha.

✨ A&W soda (vegan)

Saw they also have ice cream fridge. Wanted to get the vegan dark choco ice cream after meal but forgotten 🥲

TOP FAV ❤️ chinese zichar spot (no MSG, affordable, yummy, large portion)

[HUGE RECO LIST BELOW] my regular spot for the best zichar at a good price and generally large portions 🤍

well furbished friendly staff extensive menu (clearly labelled which dishes can be veganised or contains dairy/eggs) food served quick

3. xing zhou beehoon $4 — wokhey too ❤️
4. vegan mushroom satay $8/6pc (2pc included when u order satay beehoon!)
5. sweet and sour pork ribs with lychee $15/8pc — my new fav! has fake bones made from sugarcane
6. monkey head mushroom curry ramen $6 — mild-moderate spice. same curry base as the dish below, but w ramen MHM 🍄
7. claypot thai style assam fish red curry $10 — i like to dabao w rice, and heat up with 2 extra taukwa blocks to feed 3 people!

[mid tier] 👍🏻👍🏻
1. stir fry broccoli and cauliflower $8
2. spicy thai basil lemon chicken $13 — mild spice
3. stir fry xiao jie lan veggie (regular) $8

-hokkien prawn noodles (no egg option) $4.50
2nd best vegan hokkien mee i’ve ever tried!

-bittergourd beehoon soup $6
-stir fry carrot cake with omnipork $4 — fragrant rice cakes, has a slightly crisp layer. portion can be bigger but taste is good! comes w chilli sauce

value for $, 2 patties! taste ok. not too peppery. good if u like mock meat.
-vegan fish slice beehoon soup $4
-bak kut teh soup rice set $5
-sky juice (water) with lemon and mint $1
what a cute name 😂 too much mint leaves added which made the drink bitter
