Favourite on the island - Edit
Would give 5 stars if I could! Good range of vego and vegan food, and understand them both fully. We kept ending up back here as everything we ate was a good. Fair price and nice cocktails for happy hour. Good mix of Indonesian and western foods.

Vegan burger not vegan - Edit
I was there in summer and ordered the burger from the vegan section. I got the burger and also some ketchup and what i figured vegan mayo.
Read moreWhen I later ordered french fries I got the same sauces again and asked if this is vegan mayo. They told me that it is regular mayo so I also asked about the white sauce that came with the vegan burger and it also turned out to be non-vegan mayo.
I figured it could happend and told them the mistake so they could maybe fix it for the future. However, they just responded that the kitchen doesn't know about 'vegan', and just made excuses for the cook. I don't know if I misunderstood but it seemed like they planned fixing it. So I would not come back again since I'm now confused what is actually vegan. Wouldn't trust the vegan menu here, so better make sure!

Great Burgers! - Edit
I am not vegan but my partner is and the fly and shine fulfilled both. We were there twice - while the food is good with vegetarian and vegan options, the burgers are the best! My partner had the tempeh burger and I had the crispy bacon burger and we were both thrilled!

We had the tempe burger, which was very nice!! A good surprise, the bun was soft as we like, and it was a good portion!
And the eggplant tofu tempe with rice : could have been a bit tastier but it was ok!
