Spectacular Venue

Given the price point this might be reserved for a special occasion meal out. The restaurant is situated amidst palm trees and food gardens the fruits of which end up on plates. The vegan options were limited but the server knowledgeable so be sure to ask. The food was fresh and flavourful tasting like it had just been picked. Pizza was a hit as was the tomato salad.

Not great vegan options/I used to LOVE Flora but no more

I have eaten at Flora Farms for many years. It has changed and grown considerably since the early days. It used to be when you left they’d give you a bag of mangoes or something similar as a thanks for coming. They used to create special vegan dishes, but those days are long gone. I stopped by today based on some of the more recent posts, but the menu I was presented with at lunch had one basic salad that was vegan and that was it. I asked the hostess and my waiter separately what other options there were for vegans and the only other option was the beet salad minus the cheese. That’s really pretty sad for a farm table restaurant. The atmosphere is still lovely. The prices are very high. Don’t go counting on getting anything more than a salad.

Pros: Only vegan option at lunch was a salad, Nice atmosphere.

Cons: Lack of vegan options, High prices

Lovely atmosphere

Flora farms is an experience and just walking around was lovely. We went for lunch and didn’t have a reservation but they were able to seat us. They had one soup, one salad and 2 main courses that were vegan. The papaya gazpacho was amazing. My husband had the chick pea croquets (which was basically falafel) and I had the vegan ravioli with eggplant. The presentation was beautiful and the food was delicious. Really nice place for a special occasion.

Pros: Papaya gazpacho was soooo good, The grounds are lovely

Cons: It is pricey, The shops are very pricey., Wish a farm had more plant based options

Beautiful Grounds

Very delicious and fresh meal. The grounds are beautiful and there are many different things to see. The menu had 3 vegan options clearly labeled on it: one salad and two vegan entrees. The focaccia bread is also vegan with butter being served on the side. Started off with the focaccia bread which was amazing. I had to ask again if it was vegan friendly which I was ensured it was. Then came the salad which was fresh. Loved the tomatoes and cucumbers that came with it. So cool to know that everything came right there from that farm. Then as my entree came the quinoa balls with broccoli and a sauce. I enjoyed it. Would love to see more vegan options at a place like this.

It was good.

Went here for dinner with friends. The menu had one Vegan, & Gluten free option listed, including a dessert. There are shops, & the restaurant had live music, which made it a pleasurable experience.

Pros: Vegan & Gluten Free option, Vegan & Gluten free dessert option

Cons: It was pricey, Small size portions

Beautiful space, some options, decent food

This is a beautiful venue with a large restaurant, several shops, and event spaces in the hills inland from the coast near Cabo San Lucas. They have clearly marked vegan options on the menu and staff is knowledgeable. The salads were quite good. However, I was underwhelmed with the vegan ravioli. The filling was fairly good, but the sauce was just not flavorful. Next time I'd probably order the croquettes. Only vegan dessert was sorbet. Good selection of beer, wine, and cocktails.

Pros: Beautiful venue, Several clearly marked options

Cons: Bland ravioli, Still pretty meat-heavy

Absolutely Delicious

*another 5 star trip in May 2024. The food was somehow even better this trip! The staff is still well aware of veganism and everything is actually clearly marked with vegan (and gluten free). We have so much food that you don't need to worry. The guava Gelato and coconut ice cream were absolutely insane!!!!!! The environment is just so lovely. Yes, it's a little pricier than just grabbing some street tacos but it's definitely worth it. I would eat here every day if I could. The food tastes so fresh and homemade. Amazing!

1st trip - March 2019 -
5 stars!!!!! Farm to table style restaurant that's just adorable. You eat amongst the gardens and it's very chic yet rustic. The vegan food was super delicious! You could tell how fresh it was! Their staff is knowledgeable about veganism, too, so no worries. They have bread, appetizers, mains and dessert.😄

*Must make a reservation ahead of time! This place gets crazy busy!!!*

There are also some cute shops here. They're a little pricey but excellent products. They have 2 stores that sell body care type items. Both have numerous locally made, vegan items. We spent way too much but we have ended up absolutely loving everything we bought! We are planning a trip later in the year to restock!

Lovely space, vegan food just OK

This place was highly recommended by an omnivore friend and it's clearly considered to be one of the top restaurants in San José del Cabo so we had to try it and the overall experience did not disappoint but vegan options still seem limited, and my entree was just ok. The space is a mix of elegance and garden vibes, it's a huge place, we were first sat by the bar but asked to move to a less claustrophobic table and they quickly moved us to the interior area which was perfect, service by our waiter Eduardo was flawless, my omnivore travel partner and I shared the farm gazpacho which was beautiful and delicious, my main course was Crispy Quinoa and Summer Pea Croquettes and it was quite small and underwhelming for $36 (see the photo, you don't get much for the money.) I think for an organic farm restaurant they should develop more and better vegan options, but overall it's a lovely place to get a drink and a snack.

Vibes, not many options

The juice and the farm tour were both excellent. Definitely recommend the farm tour - I got to try fresh off the plant hibiscus for the first time. There was only a salad and gaspachos and a pasta dish for vegan food items. The gaspachos was amazing. The pasta dish was passably good. The real win here is the California garden in the desert ambiance.

Delicious and festive

The vegan croquettes were delicious, as were the cocktails. It was very lively and festive-definitely make a reservation. They burn herbs to ward off the bugs, but try to get a seat near a fan to guarantee you won’t be shushing away flies during your meals. The service was on point. Definitely a highlight.

Great outdoor setting and wonderful food

Make reservations well in advance as availability goes fast! You can make reservations online where you can list your dietary requirements like vegan😄alcohol-free or allergy etc. However the serving staff didn't know we were vegan so I am assuming the online dietary information was to provide marketing data only. Also bring your GPS as the last few miles were on an unpaved road - numerous signs were posted along the unfinished road to Flora Farms to help guide.

We arrived early and found numerous shops to explore and a wine and cafe bar where we tasted a glass of a red blend from a winery in Baja California while waiting for our reservation time.

The outdoor setting was extraordinary and the service timely and attentive. A complimentary pre-tasting sample arrived with our drinks. We tried almost everything marked vegan on the menu. We ordered the summer farm gazpacho, crispy millet and spring pea croquette and the corn orecchiette (which we requested to be made vegan). We tried the non-diary ice cream with toppings for dessert.

We will definitely return when we make our way back to Los Cabos on another vacation!

Pros: Excellent tasting vegan dishes, Outdoors setting was spectacular , Serving staff aware of vegan requirements

Cons: Did promote locally grown farm animals on the menu

Accommodating to vegans!

My finance and I went and they were very vigilant about checking the menu items for dairy ingredients. We were able to get 5 unique vegan dishes. From a moral standpoint, it was sad to know about the fate of the chickens and pigs on the property.... 😭
With that aside, they are very plant forward, sustainable and friendly. Fantastic cocktails as well. 10/10 would to back!

Incredible atmosphere and food!

A beautiful outdoor restaurant by the farm with some shops to browse through while you wait. The food was fresh and incredible and the music at night completes the atmosphere! I would highly recommend the the garden julep with watermelon.

Pros: Many vegetarian and vegan options, Beautiful location, Great cocktails

Cons: Expensive
