Nice country pub on the canal

Specialising in pies, there is a vegan option, many gluten free options. Lovely country pub, right on the canal

Pros: Gluten free options , Vegan desserts , Vegan meal options

Nice

Lovely pub in a nice situation by the canal. They have a couple of vegan options, as well as a couple of desserts, including some great sorbet flavours.
I opted for the veggie balti pie as pies are what they known for and it was really tasty.

Pros: More choice than most pubs

Lovely location, delicious pie, dog friendly country pub.

Stopped en route up north and had a really delightful visit at this gorgeous country pub with its canal side location, cosy interior and enormous gardens. We both had the vegan balti pie, yum, scrumptious. The chips were enormous and wonderfully cooked. Didn't have room for dessert, which was a shame as there were a couple of tasty options. Service was great, staff very friendly and welcoming, water bowl for our dog and a dog treat.

Canal side pub

Lovely canal side pub with outdoor seating. Limited options on the menu, but all options were lovely. We are a family of 6 and the children all had the burgers and we had the Balti pies. All really tasty, another pie option on the menu would be great! The children had the brownie and ice cream to finish which was delicious and served warm. Would definitely return when passing!
