Congratulations to the chef - Edit
The dishes offered were unique even if based on American cuisine. Sweet potato tostones with sweet onions, beautiful seasonal salad or soup. Vegan gumbo with different veggies or spinach crepes topped with artichokes, perfectly grilled carrots, white beans presented on a light sauce. Perfect balance.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They were able to provide vegan alternatives (like vegan Parmesan or cashew cheese) for multiple menu items.

Extremely Accommodating and Delicious - Edit
My partner and I are both vegan and have had two tasty meals at Firefly in the past six months. Even though they are not a fully vegan restaurant, they offer an amazing variety of vegan choices, and their knowledgable and friendly staff are happy to explain the menu. Both times we were blown away by their daikon radish cakes, and it's a surprising pleasure to have multiple other appetizers, small plates, and entrees to choose from. I would definitely give them 5 stars if HappyCow would allow that, but that's reserved for fully vegan or vegetarian places. We are very much looking forward to our next meal at Firefly!

Excellent balance of textures and flavors. Massive portions with high quality ingredients. Menu didnt list the vegan items but service staff was VERY knowledgeable and could tell us all the vegan options on the menu and what ingredients they use for them. Even has 2 vegan desserts! Will go back often

Adorable ambiance; has a seasonal menu that always has two vegan entrees, and most of the starters and salads are vegan or easily modified. Staff is very friendly and always knowledgeable about what's vegan. Amazing vegan desserts. Good wine list too.
