Offers comfort food like hot dogs, burgers etc. Also has a bakery offering cheese cakes, muffins, flat breads, apple pies, etc. A weekly special is on offer each week such as chili non carne, quiche, cottage pie, etc. Oat milk offered for cappuccinos. Sells vegan beer such as Tiger and Heineken. Juices & shakes are also served. There is a bean cushion seating area. Mondays to Fridays: Last orders for food at 9.30pm. Restaurant closes at 10pm. Last orders for food at 10.30pm. Restaurant closes at 11pm. Open Mon-Fri 11:00am-10:00pm, Sat 11:00am-11:00pm. Closed Sun.

We had a pizza that was excellent and an Oreo cheesecake that was one of the tastiest we've ever had.

I’m not the biggest fan of British food and eating it outside of the UK felt tricky, but the fish & chips here was amazing, very nice flavours. Just as good as some of the ones I had in the UK. Fries are also great and they have great vegan mayonnaise! Also would recommend their ice cream; they serve magnum-like ice cream in different flavours! The vanilla chocolate was very delicious and quite filling.

Nice to be able to try something local that I otherwise wouldn’t have tried because I wouldn’t. Have known it’s vegan. In general it’s a great place to get some local tips, the owner is very knowledgeable and is the main contributor of HappyCow in Sai Gon, so I felt like it was important to support this place. If you eat here, you indirectly support the local restaurants that get updated/added on HappyCow. Also check out Filthy Vega on YouTube for more insights on veganism in Sai Gon!
If you wanna support the vegan community and have some comfort food, go here! You will have a good time, if it’s not busy definitely some friendly conversation with the owner. There are also books and board games to explore. A very safe space for vegans🫶

Had a burger and a hot dog. The hot dog wasn't very good. The burger "patty" was strange. The cashew cheese was pretty good and the fries (chips) were good.

I came here twice, being British I really enjoyed the vegan comfort foods. I had the roast and full English. I preferred the full English, but the roast had LOADS of gravy which was great. The desserts are also super tasty without being sickly. Had coffee with vegan condensed milk which I feel is rare. Owner was super friendly and welcoming, they gave me tips about being vegan in Vietnam. Highly recommend this place

Unique experience for Vietnam - Edit
This place has a huge menu with a variety of cuisines. It was cool to see what non-traditional veganized dishes for vietnam could taste like given the local ingredients. The fish n chips were okay, hot dog was interesting but solid and the pizza was surprisingly the best for the way it looked coming out. Worth the try if you’re looking for some non Vietnamese vegan food.

Everything I ate here tells me I should give this place a 5* rating. If you’ve been travelling Vietnam or live here, you know how many great local places there are to try, but this can lead to a huge amount of local Vietnamese food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. After a while, you need something a little bit different. That’s where this place sits so well. If you want a great, westernised meal, this place is great! It genuinely had one of the best vegan fish and chips I’ve ever had. You can find better quality but not much better fulfilment from a meal than here.

We had the best time at The Filthy Vegan! The food was delicious - we had the pizza and a hotdog and they were insanely good. The cashew cheese is something to write home about. Friendly owner, western home vibes - 7/10 - Edit
This place really almost has a similar vibe to kind of a vegan pub in the UK, the owner is very friendly and helpful however the food lacked to me slightly, I was seeing all the other reviews and idk if something was wrong with me but maybe it just didn't suit my tastes.

The pizza base wasn't as doughy and soft I would have enjoyed the toppings were good but the base dough just was too cracker like with hard bits in this was similar with the hot dog bun as well. The cheesy chips were not what I expected and didn't look the most appealing however they tasted pretty good. My shake I prefer a creamy sweet feel in the mouth and this was more smooth and pure, the brownie was more sponge than goo which is also just a preference thing.

The owner is a gem and the food is great! The location is easy get to, it’s above another business, the business downstairs very enthusiastically pointed out how to enter the venue. I had the mushroom pizza, the chocolate orange ganache and the best banter with the owner. It feels like you’ve come over to his house and you’re hanging out in his home.

A little bit hidden on the first floor of a building. I was welcomed by Kieron, the owner and his lovely cat sleeping. Good place if you want to try different food. Kieron is friendly and a OG Vegan and Saigonese and very frank. I like brownies and theirs are great. Cheers from the D9 guy ;)
