This shop offers a wide range of British food, as well as pizza and hot dogs. The drinks are super tasty and the food is a welcome change from the otherwise Asian vegan food offerings. Nice 100% vegan restaurant, perfect for getting your western fast food fix with a homemade feel to it. Owner was super friendly and funny too. Also had the cutest kitten which loved cuddles 🥰 the owner sent us on an adventure climbing up a few levels looking for the shrine (which we found) and the ‘secret garden’ which we never found.

Imagine your mate cooks the best homemade food you ever tasted but in fact then opens a restaurant. We went there in august but sometimes I still think about the food and so I have to write this review. Had the Hotdog which had such an unique texture! And finally a vegan vietnamese coffee with condensed milk to die for. After that we were so full we couldn't eat that day anymore. Total recommend!

First cup of tea I’ve had in a month and first Full English Breakfast I’ve had in 2 years. I’ve not been back to the UK in 2 years and the comfort I got from finding this place was immense. Heinz beans, Yorkshire Tea, Tetley, and vegan bacon here, all stuff I’ve been missing greatly. Everything we had was sublime, owner was very friendly and helpful, and they offered us free water bottle refills even if we’re only passing which we really appreciate since we’re unfortunately chugging through plastic bottles since we started in Vietnam. Reasonably priced as well I thought for the quality we got.

Given the amount of vegetarian-friendly local food options in Vietnam this was definitely an unexpected choice during our trip, but it turned out being a very welcome comfort food break in the middle of all the vegetable-focused meals we were having.
Read moreWent as a group of four and had hot dogs, pizza and nachos to share. By the end of the night every person on the table had a different favorite dish from what was served. If that doesn't say everything was great, I don't know what does.
Personally I would highlight the spicy hot dog and the very distinct tomato sauce flavor of the pizza. Very very good.
Should just say the desserts weren't my favorite, tho. Maybe too full from all the food we had?
The owner was very friendly and genuinely interested in talking with us.
Had a great night with great food and a game of Cards Against Humanity borrowed from the shop.
Definitely going back if visiting HCM again.

Came here after an 11 hour bus ride. Was grateful for a vegetarian restaurant with a big menu. The owner was quite friendly and funny. The burger was ok. I imagine the 5 star average is thanks to the expat community.

My girlfriend and I loved the food. The Hot Dog was genius, but the Pizza Hawaii was one of the best things I ever ate in my life. We really wanted to come back but sadly couldn't make it. If we ever come back to Ho Chi Min the Filthy Vegan will be on our list!

Read moreWhat will immediately strike you upon entering the restaurant is friendliness - the owner is an incredibly funny, friendly, and down-to-earth individual. I don't think I have ever encountered a more welcoming owner of a restaurant - he really wants to get to know you and help you have a good experience, not just in his restaurant but in Vietnam in general. He is happy to make suggestions - including in one case trying to encouraging us to order something cheaper with more food to save money! And the best part is that he is a passionate vegan who runs his restaurant as a real "labor of love".
Now onto the food - it was unquestionable the best vegan British food I have ever had. Every dish is made with love and care - from handmaking the pastry, sausage, bacon etc. Not an easy feat at all but they pull it off wonderfully. Everything tasted homemade - which is no surprise given that the owner is back there making it for you! Everything we tried was executed perfectly - the full English breakfast, the sausage roll, the cheese and onion pasty, and the chili-covered hot dog. The "triple-cooked chips" are among the best I have ever had - perfectly soft with just a bit of crispness on the outside! Portions are quite generous, with piles of chips, seas of peas, and bowls of gravy.
Of course, one of the best parts is the dessert - I struggle to think of any other vegan restaurant that has a better dessert menu than this! The brownie with custard is truly amazing - I have never had anything like it, but it tasted even better than I imagined it could! The oreo cheesecake and chocolate almond tart are also out of this world. The only slight disappointment was the mint chip ice cream bar - the taste was good, but the texture of the ice cream was a bit off. But overall, the desserts are truly fantastic and it is clear that a lot of effort is put into them.
I wished I lived nearby so I could visit this restaurant again and again. On our last night we were the only ones there, which is a real shame. The owner is an incredibly talented cook and great guy who will brighten your day. Please, if you are vegan or vegetarian and find yourself in Ho Chi Minh City, make it a priority to stop here. As long as you are at least slightly open to British-style vegan food, you won't regret it!

British comfort food you didn’t know you needed. Both the food and the owner did the impossible and made us miss the U.K. (a bit anyway). The owner is a warm and interesting guy with great British humour. The food was so comforting and filling but didn’t get bloating or issues after that you can sometimes get after eating junk food. The sausage and mash comes with an appropriate (I.e lots!) of gravy. OH was very pleased to have HP sauce for the chips. Desserts were proper desserts- sweet and delicious which are so hard to come by as so many vegan places insist on making raw desserts & basically nothing resembling a sweet treat. The chocolate cake and custard was the best!

If you’re looking to satisfy some British home-comfort cravings then this is the place for you. The full English breakfast was very authentic. Fish ‘n’ chips was well executed; very greasy but that’s to be expected! Cottage pie veggies were a bit undercooked and the potato layer could’ve done with some crisping up in the oven. I would’ve liked more baked beans with the fry-up and the fish ‘n’ chips, but very much appreciated that they were authentic Heinz and I know they’re not cheap to get out here! Magnum ice cream was less like ice cream and more like a date-based bar covered in chocolate, but tasty nonetheless. Chocolate brownie was warm, decadent and delicious.

The owner is very warm and welcoming and was kind enough to let us chill out there all afternoon, working on our laptops and playing chess. We had planned to go back a fourth time to try the burger but unfortunately we ran out of time!
