Great Vegan Choices

We went on a Friday evening and it was very quiet as a member of staff said it was more of a day pub. The menu was varied with a range of vegan options especially for mains. And not just the usual vegan burger.

My partner had the vegan fish and chips. The batter was light and crispy with good fat chips.

I had the mushroom pithivier which was excellent. So tasty with brilliant veg and a salad! Really well cooked and beautiful presentation.

As usual we were half way through eating and then remembered to take photos.

They do a vegan Sunday roast.

Highly recommend.

Pros: Choice, Taste, Outdoor seating

Cons: Difficult to get to if not driving

Good choice of vegan options and attentive service

The only place to eat in my parents village. I opted for a 2 course Christmas special menu which was a beetroot and mushroom wellington on pea puree with rocket on top and for dessert I had the dark chocolate torte with coconut ice cream. My mum had the vegan nut roast with roasted potatoes, roasted veg and gravy and my partner opted for the vegan banana blossom fish and chips all were really good as I tried all the plates!

Pros: Understand vegans and good selection, Parking and disabled access, lots of interior seating
