Banging, don’t judge it by the outside!

Delicious food in very humble surroundings. We tried the burger, the tofish and the roast and everything was 5⭐️. Definitely a try for before the theatre.

Meat feast pizza

Really good dough and vegan meats, but I feel like they could use a better cheese (or maybe even less quantity of the same cheese would be better). The cheese was too dense and covered the flavour of the dough and the vegan bacon. I really recommend this place though, many options to try and friendly staff. Nice place, good menu and good vibe.

another 5 star review

perfect on a summer eve. located in the back of a lively outdoor food court near the river. i order the tofish(of course), superfood salad, and side of plantains. everything was so good. and the service was friendly. must have in London!

Great food, great people

Had a great pre-theatre dinner here! Everyone was really friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the food was really good. We had the tofu fish and chips, and the buckwheat pancakes with tofu, roasted veg, and other elements for a Mexican-vibe dish. Both were fantastic!

So tasty!

Was desperately looking for a vegan fish and chips alternative while visiting London. This restaurant has a „secret spot“ vibe and the staff was really friendly. My mom and I both had the „award-winning“ fish and chips and it was worth the hype!

A hidden gem

The tofish and chips is simply heavenly.

We found this gem on a city break to London. The food was delicious. My only downside is that there was only one person working (cooking, serving, cleaning) so the service was slightly longer than we would have hoped, but it was worth waiting for.

Pros: Friendly staff, Delicious food, Great location

Cons: Slightly longer wait then there should have been.

Really good food

The wait time was a tad longer than they estimated but the savory food was really delicious and definitely worth the wait. I wasn't keen on the sweet iptions so i left those. The price was a bit high but not abnormal for London. Overall, great mains but a little pricey

Pros: Flavours

Cons: Price

Great space, tasty food

Great discovery for a bite before going to the National Theatre next door. Tried the full English breakfast, fried plantains, and bean & beetroot salad, all excellent. Such a pleasure to have simple food but served with such care about the flavours. Lovely outdoor casual space too. Overall a great find!!

Amazing food

The restaurant doesn't look super fancy (the "inside" space is under a tent and tables are a bit dated) but the food is great. It smelled really good of pizza which we would have happily ordered, but they don't offer any gluten-free base. Fortunately, the menu offers many other amazing options. The tofish & chips was incredible, I loved the way the fried tofish was put together: the "cream" added on top of the tofu and nori was great (I wish I took a picture of the inside). Waffles were very tasty too, whether savoury or sweet. We really enjoyed our dinner!

Tasty food, huge portions

Lovely food just off the South Bank. At first I thought it was a little pricey, but the portions are huge (enough for two). I had the tofish and chips and was hardly able to finish it. The lentil fritters were really tasty too. The owner was also lovely😄Would recommend

Good tofish and chips

I enjoyed the food, tofish was nice, soft inside and crunchy. I think they use firm and silky tofu! Nicely seasoned. Mushy peas was plain and cold, which i didnt like.

Great place for visitors to London to try vegan fish and chips

Some of the best to-fish and chips I’ve ever had, in a casual and relaxed setting. Gabriel’s wharf is a cool place to visit, just off the south bank, and I would highly recommend it for any vegan visitors to London. It also has some interesting draft beers.

The main courses were fairly priced, but the drinks (especially the smoothies and coffees) extremely expensive.

May 2026: Updated to add photo of roast dinner, available every day.

Nice food

I had the tofish and chips. The chips were top notch. The tofish was really salty and the mushy peas were served cold. At £17.50 the food is not cheap for eating in a tent. Also the step needs sorting on the way in...almost everyone tripped on it tonight and it's an accident waiting to happen (we raised it to the person working tonight). I would have had dessert but the staff never came and asked so we just got the bill. Which was a shame but probably a blessing as it was super expensive (£10 for a slice of cake!). My friend had the buckwheat waffles which he said were very tasty.

Great food, lovely service.

My girlfriend and I popped in whilst we had some time in the city. Lovely service, great tasting food.
Order was accurate and promptly prepared.
Chatted to the owner about their Seitan Shop venture too, definitely recommend talking to him about it! It made me buy some and I was very happy about how the proceeds are being used by him and his family.

Amazing fully vegan restaurant

Amazing fully vegan restaurant - we went for brunch and both had the vegan full English, everything was really tasty and had a lot of flavour. Plus the owner is super friendly and the restaurant has a very relaxed vibe. Will definitely be returning regularly!! It’s lovely to support a small vegan business.

Incredible Find

We had two pizzas, one chick’n wrap and tofish along with a cider and beer. Everything was delicious. So much better than the tofish we had at another vegan London restaurant. This one tasted like fish. I wish that we had more time to come back.

Pros: Tofish, pizza, chik’n wrap , Wonderful owner with whom I spoke French.

Cons: None

Mediocre

Got the burger and chips as I’m on a budget. The most average meal I’ve bought out, a moving mountains burger from Tesco taste better.
Pretty sure it was undercooked as it was floppy. The waiter also mistook my order and wasn’t willing to make compromises on a meal e.g remove the wrap of one of the meals

Fried classics cooked from scratch

Great version of fish’n’chips - battered tofu really tastes of the sea! Great fresh green juice. Will be back to try rest of menu.

Pros: Fried tofu with tartar sauce , Great menu, Handy location in vegan black spot

Cons: Would be better if chips were fat chip shop chips

Aaaaaaaaaaaa

Been meaning to come here for ages since they had a spot at AFC Wimbledon but it was worth the wait. Can absolutely see why the Tofish and chips has won awards and the chick’n wrap was also superb. Could’ve happily tried the rest of the menu but our stomachs are only so big. Recommend to anyone. Bonus points for the sun being out

Pros: Nice vibe

Cons: London prices

Insanely delicious food in a nice spot

Really nice spot on a sunny day especially. The tofish and chips is an actual game changer, and the chickn wrap was gorgeous so can only assume the entire menu is to die for. London prices but it is worth it
