Beat vegan sushi

The best sushi I've ever had. Every bite is a real treat! Or as we would say in German: "Es ist einfach krank gut!"

The best thing is the real cute doggo!!

Vegan Sushi & Japanese Fusion

Vegan sushi anybody can enjoy. This is the first vegan sushi restaurant in Korea. Since they opened, the quality has been improved. I went there with non-vegan person like my mentor & others at the pop-up & new location. All liked it and their feedback was good because they are different from other vegan restaurants that sells mostly western style of vegan foods. The sushi rice tastes good, and I liked its simple presentation. A bit pricy but worth to try.

very creative sushi

I came here with my husband who is not vegan, and we both really enjoyed it. We thought the sushi was very creative, and everything we had was really good. It was nice to have something different here, and my husband really enjoyed the fried oyster mushrooms (I thought they were a little spicy). I often find some of the food in the korean restaurants too spicy for me, but this was perfect because the sushi was not spicy at all, and I liked all the different rolls.

Pros: creative, variety of rolls in sushi set, I saw on their website that you can bring your dog

Cons: pricier than some other places

different vegan choices

Many vegan restaurants here in Korea are too focused on Western dishes, so it was good to find something different this time around. There were four of us and we had the same thing: sushi lunch set. Each sushi was nice, but I think I enjoy the side dishes more. The sushi rice was not something I am used to when I was living in Japan. The owner has several dogs and when we visited, two of them barked to greet us,. Dogs being dogs, the barking continued here and there in the beginning, so at times, it was annoying

If you are visiting, check the restaurant's website for opening days, as occasionally it opens on Tuesday as well. The homepage recommends making reservation to check whether the menu you want is available due to preparation time and ingredients availability.

Awesome and creative Sushi!

The place is really nice itself. The owners seem to be ethical vegans as they are a lot of animal rights content in the restaurant. The Sushi were so delicious. The carrot one really tasted like salmon ! And the yellow one really tasted like egg. Recommend it even though it is out of Seoul.

Pros: Delicious Sushi , Ethical vegan place

Cons: Expensive, Outside Seoul

Food is terrible

I was extremely excited to go to an all vegan sushi place. The food is visually appealing, both in person and on photos however my disappointment for this place is unmatched.

Sushi literally means vinegar rice. This base is the critical component of the dish, anything on top is free game. The rice here is just salty. It tastes nothing like sushi at all.

The toppings are also strange. There were a lot of inari (yubu) zushi with cream toppings. Both flavors of croquet were also cream. I dont know why they dont offer the standard plain croquet which are delicious and impossible to find vegan in this country. There is a grilled meat with cheese sauce sushi.

The price is also super expensive. I know its a lot of work to prepare the vegetables in order to have them looking and tasting like fish, but the taste is abominable.

On their menu is listed strawberry ice cream, but it's actually strawberry sorbet which is a purchased product. A friend had the elderflower ade and said its way too sweet.

I wouldnt go back here even if someone else was paying.

Just Wow!!

I’d been hearing about this place and let me just say it was absolutely worth the trip across town. We ordered the set and some other mushroom rice appetizer and it was all so amazing! The tofu pockets were especially delicious and as a one-time avid sushi eater this place really delivered. We loved it and will definitely be back!

Artistically Great but taste only good

The artistic success of their plates makes this place worth visiting, regardless of anything else.

After being amazed how good everything looked we were only somewhat happy with the meal. So much of what they served was good but the rice was all wrong for sushi. It tasted like plain rice lacking any sour taste at all. It was a let down because the dishes were clearly made with great care. Most of the flavors were very good and could have been excellent with sushi rice.

Pros: Only vegan sushi option

Cons: rice
