Overpriced garbage, had an absolutely terrible experience - Edit
I ordered the vegan pumpkin pie and vegan Caesar salad. Both were super expensive but seemed yummy so I thought I might as well. So I placed an order. I opened the bag, starving and ready to eat, only to find that they completely forgot the salad!!! I was super hungry so I thought I could at least eat the pie, but then I saw they had given me regular pumpkin pie instead of vegan pumpkin pie 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ I am extremely disappointed and will definitely not order from here ever again.
Read moreEdit: true to my word, I didn't order prepared food from here after that experience, but I had a big UberEats promo for Erewhon groceries which I decided to take advantage of. They have an interesting selection of speciality vegan products that typically aren't available elsewhere. However, the prices are ridiculous!!! When browsing the grocery catalog, I thought the prices must be some cruel joke. The things that are sold, in addition to the pricing, makes this store seem like a parody of hippie LA vegan culture. Also, there's a lot of sketchy supplements and wellness products that have exhorbitant health claims not backed by evidence, such as "liver detox" products. These products are an unnecessary waste of money at best and downright harmful at worst. Browsing the supplements and wellness products sold here made me feel very disturbed and uncomfortable. I know it sounds very harsh, but overall I'd say Erewhon is overpriced garbage for rich hippies.

Was just here and was quite impressed with the food selection: lots of fine natural foods and products, and the range is very its store in Venice.
