Not a lot of vegan options

Unfortunately they did not have a lot of vegan options. I had the soup with bread and hummus. I also think that was basically the whole vegan variety. Even though everything I ate was really good! They also bake the bread themselves!

Pros: Homemade Sourdough Bread

Cons: small vegan options

Good, but almost no vegan options

Good food, good service, but almost no food for vegans.

Disappointing

Arrived here for breakfast at 10.30am, had to wait 45 mins for our food and we were the only people there! Had avocado and egg on toast and the portion was disappointingly small for 9euros. My wife had apple crepes which were nice but for 12euros was over priced. No apology or explanation for food taking an age to arrive.

Pros: Food was tasty

Cons: Small portions, Expensive, Poor service

Few options, good coffee

Its a good place to get some work done while sipping on tasty coffee. But there aren't many vegan options: only one plant-based milk and no baked goods. The sourdough bread is great and the portion is pretty big, so you can always have that with hummus or almond butter!

Pros: Very nice staff, Cozy place, Delicious bread!

Cons: Few vegan options, A bit on the expensive side

Fantastic find

Poached eggs with kale on a toast plus the best coffee I’ve had in Portugal. Great service, bright spacious space plus I was allowed to come with my dog which is a huge plus! Will definitely come back when I’m in Porto next time.

Pros: Lots of vegetarian options , Great coffee, Dog friendly

Cons: None

Best coffee

I really love this small coffee shop.
Some time ago, they had more vegan options. For example, at lunch, before I could eat there, they could always make a small change in the daily dishes.
It is a wonderful place, really fresh, local and seasonal food unfortunately not that many vegan options.
I still go for the coffee and the almond butter toast and also because it is such a cosy place and people are nice.

Pros: good coffee with vegan milk alternatives, almond butter for toast, cozy place

Cons: sometimes the daily lunch is not vegan, no vegan sweets/cakes

Schönes Restaurant

Sehr schönes Café. Suppe des Tages und Hummus Toast waren sehr gut! Der Kaffee hat uns nicht so gut geschmeckt, gut ist aber das es Hafermilch gibt. Personal war sehr nett!

Pros: Leckeres Essen (Hummus Toast), Hafermilch , Inneneinrichtung

Cons: Kaffee war teuer

Modern but not that much vegan

Such a shame but we had a disappointing visit as there didn’t seem to be many vegan options, we were hoping to have some cake but none were vegan. It’s nice and modern inside and definitely worth a visit for a coffee if in the area but if you are limited for time I personally would focus on visiting other happy cow listings as there is so much vegan choice now in this beautiful city.

Pros: nice interior

Cons: basic vegan options

Good for a Coffee

Some vegan options but nothing outstanding. All fresh and home made so sure to be good. No vegan cakes unfortunately of the three they had on offer. Fresh and modern yet a homely and relaxing place with high window seats for a coffee and a bit of street watching.

Pros: Ok vegan options , Modern

Cons: No vegan cakes

Fab breakfast

I saw the other reviews and thought, well how good can breakfast be? And what will it be? We all had French toast with lemon sauce and fruit (figs), and yes, it was excellent.

LOVED IT

best breakfast in porto so far. Not fully vegan restaurant but have really nice options when we were there: toast with almond butter and fig jam, lovely porridge with almonds, chia and brown sugar and really nice toast with a hummus like spread and vegetables. Good juices. Really nice staff. Worth paying a visit. As everywhere in Portugal: very affordable.

Pros: delicious, cheap

Amazing food, service and ambience.

This cafe was really lovely. I believe it is a couple who own it, he cooks, she is out the front. She spoke excellent English, and was so warm and friendly and explained all the dishes for us, which sounded amazing! I believe the dishes change each day, all the meals are vegetarian and there are gluten free options too. The ambience, music, decor and styling were all very cool. Iced espresso and homemade lemonade were great!

Pros: rotating menu, cakes available , excellent staff

Bad service

Please take review as constructive. I came here admittedly at a busy lunchtime and was told I might wait 1/2 an hour but people were leaving. 3 people were seated before me even though I was eventually sat at a table that had been vacated 15 mins before. I was then further ignored. I had not even been offered a drink in this time. I had to leave. If I had been communicated to/offered a drink I would probably have stayed. Please take note.
