Warm, Inviting, and Delicious - Edit
The dining area has a warm, cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The food was comforting and flavorful, like a home-cooked meal made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.

Great option for vegans - Edit
En kitchen was a super option to find when the fully vegan options ran out on a recent Nagoya visit. While not fully vegan or veg, most of the menu is vegan and the restaurant thoroughly asked about our allergens and dietary restrictions to ensure we didnt get anything we shouldn’t.

Cute small café - Edit
I had a juice and a vegan cheesecake. Bit too expensive for the size of the portion. Cheesecake is difficult to make, so I really appreciate the texture and taste 😋

Elegant Cafe - Edit
En-Kitchen is a quiet spot, the staff were super friendly and can speak English. The service was great and they walked me through the menu and what options were available that day in addition to the standard menu.
Read moreShe kindly asked if honey was ok (no, but so thoughtful to mention) and if onion was ok? Bit weird, but maybe it's for your breath afterwards? Either way, all of the staff were so lovely and kind and made you feel welcome and relaxed.
I ordered the insalata capresse (salad) which came with a pesto/onion/potato bowl and you could choose bread or rice for the side. What surprised me was the soup, it was soy milk and corn soup, it was so light and creamy, I polished it off, incredible
Overall, this place was excellent, you know that feeling you get when you walk in to a place and feel at ease like "ahhh I'm with my people" that's what I felt, as the staff really put a lot of thought and care into their dishes.

P.S. Ordered an ice coffee with soy milk (it was blistering hot outside) the coffee was top notch too 💚
Pros: Friendly staff who speak English, Really good food to the price, Coffee was amazing too

Cozy cafe - Edit
This is a great place if you are vegan or dairy/gluten free. Had a black sesami donut & pumpkin pudding. The donut was surprisingly soft, but was great.

Relaxing Cafe with Plenty of Vegan Options - Edit

Read moreEn-Kitchen Cafe, although not a veg restaurant, has a menu that is almost completely vegan and gluten-free. The two desserts that day, pumpkin pudding and tofu cheesecake, are also vegan.
The vegan curry is quite sizeable with a generous amount of curry sauce. On top of the rice are some simple veggies. The set also comes with a small salad.
The vegan sandwich uses falafel, avo, veggies, and fruit jam on a focaccia. The focoaccia, however, is quite spongy and sticky (probably made with rice flour).
Overall En-Kitchen is a nice cafe for vegans in Nagoya with plenty of simple vegan options.
Pros: Quite a lot of vegan options, Nice food with good portion

English menu, Comfortable Cafe - Edit
Quaint little restaurant with an easy to understand English menu. The seating was comfortable, and the food was tasty. I ordered a vegan sandwich which came with a delicious soy-based creamy soup. I also highly recommend the Yuzu soda, which was fantastic.

creative vegan food - Edit
little restaurant with different lunch and dinner sets. they asked right away whether I was vegan or vegetarian and then explained how I could combine their different dishes. everything was delicious and very well seasoned. also had a vegan Tiramisu for dessert which was delicious. portions aren't very big but I was satisfied after the dinner set and stuffed after the desert.
