simple and cheap - Edit
changing menu of first and second courses, dessert. very affordable (5€ for one portion), a canteen style restaurant where lots of locals come in their lunch break. it a little hectic and and you could be in and out in 15 min with a full belly. the orecchiette con cime di rapa were extremely tasty and there are lots of typical puglian dishes that are naturally vegan.

We asked for vegan options (pasta dish without the cheese and meat ), we received one that seemed ok and the other one had a lot of cheese in it…
They did not seem to serve vegan food frequently.
Pros: Price is pretty low (4,2 € pasta dishes)
Cons: Serves cheese even when not requested !, Vegan options not always available

Read moreVery affordable local canteen style restaurant. There is an italian list of dishes with their ingredients (see pictures), but only a subset of these dishes is available at a given time. These are not labeled, so it is not trivial to find out what is vegan (I forgot to ask about "vegano" directly, not sure if they would have understood). When I was there for lunch, a queue was waiting behind me, so I didn't want to take forever with choosing a dish.
Still, I got a tasty and filling meal of fave e cicoria (?), tomato salad and bread for a total of 5.90€. Not completely sure if the bread was vegan, to be honest.
