Don’t go there, they don’t know what vegan is

I went there cause it said they were vegans options. In reality the menu is made so some meal can be made vegan (by removing things obviously) but are not at first. There is an inscription-VG on the meal that can be made vegan. So obviously I believed they knew what vegan is. I ordered the spaghetti (veganos version) specified to the waitress. It came with a mountain of cheese on top, and when I said to the waitress that « queso no es vegano » she just said « I know, I told the cook ». She still decided to bring me the plate and when I said it wasn’t vegan she didn’t even take the plate back or nothing. I had to put as much cheese as I could on the side, but I’m certain I’ve eaten some of it. So anyway, go to Govinda, they know what they are talking about and it is really good!

Ps: there’s no empanadas.

Good find in the area!

A nice Peruvian-mexican restaurant with quite a few veg options including empanadas, sandwich, soups, fries. Their drinks are also delish (highly recommend the maracuyá mango!)

Pros: Vegan and veg options , Good friendly service , Nice atmosphere

Cons: A little expensive
