Great atmosphere and service - Edit
Very nice staff who acknowledged that the paella would take a while and brought some olives and bread while we waited. It was worth it.

Yummy vegan tapas - Edit
Nice vegan tapas options. Some are veggie but if you say you’re vegan they’ll remove the mayo for example. I had asparagus, artichokes, aubergine and spinach and chickpeas. All were delicious. Good service too

Vegans - do not go here - Edit
I don't like to write bad reviews but I really cannot recommend this place, especially for vegans. They sell themselves on having a vegan section of the menu but when one of the dishes came it had egg in - the white asparagus. When the waiter confirmed there was egg in the sauce I asked him why it was on the vegan menu and he responded rudely and made me feel bad for asking.
Read moreThe other dishes I had also sadly weren't good - vinegary and overly synthetic pisto (how do you manage to make some roasted vegetables taste bad when quality local veg is everywhere?) and bland espinaca con garbanzos.
We had good food everywhere we went in Sevilla except here including much better vegan dishes at omnivore restaurants which didn't sell themselves on having a vegan-specific menu.
With the exception of one waiter we found the service to be poor. My non-vegan friends weren't impressed with the service either which was slow and felt as if they were more interested in hanging out with each other than serving - the same waiter who was rude to me was visibly rolling his eyes walking away from other guests' tables, and arguing with the table next to us over their request.
Overall a very disappointing experience and really surprised that more people on happy cow haven't left bad reviews.

Lukewarm and low flavor - Edit
Although we were happy the wait for a table was not long, the tapas were lackluster. The salad consisted of iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, green bell pepper, a lot of raw white onions, and a tiny bottle of each of vinegar and olive oil. The pisto was unpleasantly sweet. We have eaten pisto in a couple of other restaurants and it was savory and much more tasty. The spinach and chickpea tapa had little flavor. Finally, both the pisto and the spinach chickpea dishes were only lukewarm rather than hot.

Pros: Short wait for a table, Vegan menu with several options
Cons: Lukewarm “hot” dishes, Pisto too sweet, Spinach chickpea tapa - low flavor

Great Meal! - Edit
a separate vegan/veggie menu, with a lot of options.
Read moreWe had the spinach chickpeas, the amazing vegan paella, cold asparagus salad and the peppers. All in all a satisfactory meal.
Had an unfortunately long waiting time, the only drawback.

Great Meal - Edit
We enjoyed four tapas (asparagus, peppers, spinach, and gazpacho) and the veggie paella, plus some bread. Everything was delicious and we were full at the end. We were excited to be able to have vegan tapas for our first meal in Sevilla. Our wait for a table wasnt very long at 8:30pm, the place is cozy and cute inside, and the service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

Amazing vegan paella in Seville - Edit
We came here at 8:30pm for dinner and had to wait to get a table. This place does not do reservations so you will have to go in and speak to the waiter to be put on a list before queuing outside. (It will get busy so be prepared to wait BUT it is worth it)
Read moreWe ordered the mixed veggies and spinach with chickpeas as tapas and for main the rice with boletus which is one of two vegan paellas on the menu.
I will be honest I would NOT order the spinach with chickpeas again, as the flavour was delicious but the look and texture of the dish was off putting. The mixed veggies were simple but tasty as a small dish.
The MAIN STAR of the show was the mushroom paella as it was literally A-MAZING. It was extremely creamy and I was disappointed when I had finished as I wanted more. I would HIGHLY recommend ordering this and will be visiting again soon.

Good place to visit if travelling with omnivores - Edit
A good place to visit if you’re dining with omnivores and need some decent vegan options. The menu has a small, clearly labeled vegan section. I tried the tomato soup, spinach & chickpeas, and the peppers—the food was good, but not the best I’ve ever had. Everything arrived just a few minutes after we ordered. These dishes are pretty common at most restaurants in Seville, so if I went back, I’d definitely try the paella, as it might be a less typical option elsewhere.

Spinach and chickpeas is the star - Edit
The menu has a vegan section. I highly recommend the Spinach Chickpea and Gaspacho. If I could go back in time I would get a full plate of spinach and tapas of the soup. If you do get the spinach save your bread for dipping it or ask for more. The mix veggies were ok.

Tasty Lunch! - Edit
Stopped by while wandering the area. We were greeted and seated kindly. Interesting design with many rooms making place feel intimate. Ordered vegan tapas and paella. Takes extra time for paella which we were informed about during order. Everything tasted fresh and nicely spiced so vegetables are the stars. Would return!

Clearly labeled vegan section - Edit
Had about 6 vegan tapas in a separate section of their menu. The spinach and chickpeas were really good - the flavoring of some others was just ok. Could have more variety of vegan tapas - mainly just vegetables.

Tasty but be wary of queues - Edit
Very tasty place, but you need to ask about options being vegan - they're not clearly marked but waiter English is perfect and it's easy to communicate. I ordered gaspacho and vegetable paella, both they were very good. From desserts I didn't order but was told that pear in wine and chocolate was vegan.
Read moreBe aware of queue and possible wait times. Speak to waiter as soon as you come as he often has waiting list with names and calls people in. Simply standing in the line won't do. We weren't very lucky as we ended up waiting for an hour.

Spanish restaurant with good vegan options - Edit
Near the cathedral, this restaurant offers several vegan options at an affordable price.
Read moreI took the gaspacho in a small size and paid 3,60€. It needed a bit more of olive oil and bread but it was really good for the price 👌
They have other options as grilled peppers, grilled artichoke with a sauce, pisto (mix of grilled veggies), spinash with chickpeas which are all local dish.
Pros: Vegan options , Portions (small and big), Price

Perfect spot for vegan paella - Edit
Was on the hunt for some vegan paella so decided to try out this place. I read online that there can be long queues as its very popular and quite a small space, however we arrived at around 7pm and was seated straight away. They have a selection of vegan tapas available here as well as the vegetable paella which is 100% vegan - I had this and it was really tasty. Very flavoursome and amazing value for money. The guys in here were super friendly too and made us feel really welcomed!

Separate vegan tapas menu - Edit
This place was great, the atmosphere was nice and the staff were really friendly. It's nice that there is a vegan menu so you can still enjoy a tapas meal out with non-vegan friends. Definitely recommend the spinach & chickpeas, the mixed vegetables were ok too. The gazpacho was nice but you get a lot of it.

There were more veggie and vegan options than expected at El Librero. I had the vegetable paella, which tasted similar to one I had made before at home. I thought it would be more fragrant, however it was tasty and filled my hunger.
