Fast-food Tempeh tacos

Happy to find this cheap option. Good amount of vegan options where you can sub tempeh for meat. No vegan cheese or sour cream. Tried tempeh tacos which tasted fine. Nothing amazing but it’s good for the price and just happy they have tempeh as an option. The service was friendly and they are quick with their food. Such an easy option that I will go to them again.

Pros: Tastes fine, Cheap, Tempeh option instead of just beans

Cons: Small portions but makes sense with price

Amazing

I loooove el indio!! The tempeh is the perfect amount of salty& seasoned you’d like in a burrito. They are super knowledgeable and helpful with making items vegan!! It is affordable& delicious.

Really good!!

I got the tempeh burrito, added rice and beans, and asked for no dairy. It really was delicious!

Pretty Good

There were lots of vegan options and the food was really good.

We ordered chips and salsa and when we got home we found that we didn't get them, so that was disappointing. I think it was because the restaurant was so busy.

Also, the portion sizes are really small, which is why the prices are low. This is something we wish we knew before ordering!

Pros: Good Food

Cons: Really busy, Small portions

Pretty Darn Good

Got the Tempeh burrito and had them add rice and leave off the dairy... It was was good. Also ordered the tempeh quesadilla (no dairy again) and it was good. My son who is not vegan even said he liked the tempeh quesadilla.

Pros: Some vegan options , Affordable , Tasty

Cons: Wish they had more vegan options

Inexpensive and awesome eats.

The tempeh tacos here are perfect (day no dairy). The Mexi-slaw is also a great add on either to your tacos or as a side.

Pros: Drive thru, Great food , Inexpensive

Cons: No indoor seating at either location.

Burritos!

Great drive-thru fast food. Although this place isn't meat or dairy free, they do serve up some pretty mean vegan burritos in a hurry. Both their black been and tempeh burritos are delicious. The little containers of red and green salsa that comes with takes it to the next level for me. However, word to the wise, check your burrito before chomping it down. I have on one occasion gotten a burrito with sour cream and cheese in it after ordering it dairy free. But hey, accidents happen.

Tasty, but make sure to order enough food

I ordered a tempeh burrito and really liked it, but it's small for the price (especially since it was non-dairy). Next time I'll probably order two things. I also got an apple burrito without realizing it would be covered in honey. I think it's probably possible to ask for it without honey, but I'm not sure. I ate it anyway and it was good, and more filling than the tempeh burrito. Their guacamole is tasty, too.

Pros: Tasty, tempeh burrito

Cons: small portions
