We discovered this place a few years ago and it remains a staple for us. The fish tank in the restaurant is super beautiful and entertaining for our kids when we go. There is an entirely vegan page of the menu and many things can also be made gf. They do also serve meat/dairy. So it makes it a good place going out with friends who may not be vegan as everyone can order something they like.

Also got the vegan buffalo wrap last time and it’s killer!

Loved this place. So many options! I got the bakun cheeze burger (it was mushroom bacon and homemade cheese). The deep fried pickles are also vegan and you can get them with vegan ranch. Soooo good. I haven't had a deep fried pickle in so long. They're spears by the way- not slices. That matters! Also pretty affordable considering everything is homemade.

What is so refreshing with EK’s Grill is their commitment to providing plant-based staples on their menu. The cook(s) and waitstaff are knowledgeable and efforts are made to offering creative food choices. All this said, the food here is what it claims to be - fun pub food. Not especially healthy but fine when needing some comfort food. The lemon pepper cauliflower wings are worth trying.

Amazing food! We happened upon this place (thanks to this app) and so glad we stopped in. Healthy options (salads) and pub food available, clearly marked vegan items. Everything is home made - plant based patties, cheeze, their buns - omg. It was super!!

Lots of choices! - Edit
We had to visit EK's Grill after hearing so much about it from other members of the local vegan community, and we weren't disappointed. The menu has so many vegan options now that it was difficult to decide what to order.
Read moreWe ended up getting cauliflower wings, a burger and a pasta dish. It was all delicious, especially the handmade burger patty and the cauliflower.

The chef at EK's Grill is really enthusiastic about everything he makes and has come out on more than one occasion to ask how our meal is. Our answer is always amazing. EK's Grill has great food for everyone. It's a comfy diner with friendly service. The menu caters to all diets (ie gluten free and vegan). If I was going to give the place 5 stars I would want a little nicer seating and ambiance but it's a diner so I really don't care. Also some times the service has been a little off but nothing negative. This is one of my favourite restaurants in Kelowna.
