Reliable, vegan-friendly health food store - Edit

This is part of a chain of health food stores with a wide range of vegan staples and imitation products. Household products that have not been tested on animals are also available here. Like the poster below I'd say that the nut-butter machine is worth a try!

Pros: location, proce, choice

Cons: not fully veg

Organic Heaven! - Edit

I loved this place, it reminded me a bit of Whole Foods Market, because they got so many nice, organic things!

I especially loved that they sell nuts, seeds and I think maybe even dried fruit in an unpackaged form, so you can easily avoid a lot of plastic!

Also, the self-made peanut butter you can make is something really special - probably makes a great souvenir! Every organic food store should offer that! :D Really, really cool!

I'm looking forward to coming back in the future, maybe explore the other EkoPlaza stores in the city!

Loved it!

Pros: unpackaged nuts & seeds, make your own nut butter, very well stocked

Great choices for vegans - Edit

I entered this shop a little bit by chance and I don't regret it. It is a big one with plenty of organic produce and vegan ones. We have less choices in the French equivalent to such a shop. There are a lot of faux-meat, some vegan cheeses, cereals, vegetables, fruits, etc. I find that prices are reasonable. This place is well located near Waterlooplein and offers a good option for vegans who want to eat at home.

Pros: vegan produce with great choice, 100% organic, well located, big store

Cons: offers meat as well

vegan goodies - Edit

We stopped in to check out their vegan options and we found some good stuff. We bought cans of pate, Cheezly cheese, vegan deli meat slices, a baguette, mustard, mayo, rice milk ice cream bars, chocolate and stroopwafel cookies. We also saw seitan in a jar and macadamia nut milk that we didn't buy, but wanted to try. Nice little store with friendly staff as we asked them to translate a few items that had no English on them.

Pros: vegan options, friendly staff

Cons: not all vegan
