Good ideas, lacks better execution ūü§∑‚Äć‚ôāÔłŹ

If you are in store for not only vegan food but a wholesome one as well, it is always exciting to find a restaurant that actually offers salads as mains ūü§£
All jokes aside, it is a fact that vegan food options in Bratislava are predominantly centered around street food so if you want to eat wholesome meals as much as possible, your heart gets racing when you find a place such as EatFit. However, as it often is, the greater the expectations the greater the disappointment can be, which turned out to be the case here ūüėĘ
I ordered the Tofu Asia salad which had a nice combination of veggies, the Asian-style tofu was very well seasoned, and the sprouts added a nice finishing touch. In general, very well thought-out dish. However, veggies lacked any seasoning, and while there was a pesto on the salad, there was very little of it to serve as an actual dressing and hence the salad tasted very dry.
If all the ingredients were mixed with the pesto and properly seasoned, it could have been a whole different experience but as it was, it seemed more like a 'bowl' where the individual components were not seasoned, and the small amount of pesto could not provide sufficient layer of flavor.
I also wanted to try their poke with tofu since the salads and bowls are only on offer during lunch time but noticed on the last moment that it contains eggs based on the allergens info. Asked the staff about it and they said that mayonnaise is used in the tofu marinade. I suggested that if they swap it with now widely available vegan mayo, they have a nice vegan meal. They replied that they will consider this since they are planning to add more vegan options in the future ūü§ě
Overall, EatFit certainly has potential and I will definitely keep them on my radar and give them another try in some time. Their thinking behind the food and ideas are generally good, but they need a little more focus on the execution to fully realize the meals' potential.

EDIT June 2021: Eatfit delivered on their promise and they now do offer a vegan poke. However, it falls victim to the same issue mentioned in the original review ‚Äď good ideas, but not the best execution (lacks some greens to round up the flavor profile and add ‚Äėbulk‚Äô, all the veggies and the sauce would need some salt/seasoning.
Overall, still a decent meal for good price and thumbs up for keeping their meals wholesome and delivering on their promise, but still needs some improvement to be considered a regular eating spot.
