We have been going to Easy House ever since we discovered it a few years ago after moving up from Sydney to the Gold Coast. It is run by the loveliest family who are really passionate about veganism & making their customers happy by serving up consistently delicious food each & every time. We love Asian food & could not be happier with the delicious selections on offer in their fantastic menu. My family are all vegan and my son & I are also gluten free. We always have the best selection of dishes to choose from & don't ever feel as if we are missing out on anything by being gluten free. The friendly staff always cater well to our gluten free requirements. I also love the fact that they don't cook with onion or garlic - another thing I can't eat. We especially love the "beef" in black bean sauce, the salt & pepper tofu, the combination flat rice noodles, the vegetarian fried rice, xo noodles, pan fried dumplings and steamed Chinese broccoli. The yum cha lunch menu is also divine with the best steamed dumplings in the universe! Their mango & coconut puddings are out of this world also - so happy mango season is back again! This is a restaurant that has become our absolute favourite in the whole of the Gold Coast & is where we celebrate just about every special occasion. Thank you to the wonderful staff for their amazing customer service and delectable dishes. We really appreciate everything you do, as we are sure, do the animals you save by being such great advocates for veganism & the plant-based, healthy way of life. Please go and try this highly recommended gem of a restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Favourite meal on the Gold Coast - Edit
Cycled down from surfers paradise and was not disappointed. Had lunch and it was soooo good. Definitely ate too much but was worth it. Would have loved to go with friends to try different dishes, I was on my own so had the dumplings (my favourite) and chilli chicken. They let my try some of their home made picked radish and it was great. Definitely worth a visit!!!!

We had fried wontons, spring rolls, mushroom dumplings, chinese coriander dumplings, and my favourite, salty fish and chicken fried rice. It was amazing, I think I could eat the fried rice for every meal.
Can’t wait to go back and try more items off the menu.

We ended up going to Easy House two evenings in a row because, yes, it was that good! The first evening it was a bit full, so we just picked up some takeout to eat on the 39th floor balcony of our hotel - combination fried rice, tofu curry, sample appetizers, and we even got some free taro fritters!
Read moreThe second evening we arrived early and got XO noodles, Thai style fried rice, pan-fried tofu dumplings, pan-dried shanghai dumplings, steamed mushroom dumplings, Malaysian flat noodles, and salt and pepper chicken! A LOT OF FOOD! We ended getting a box because we were so stuffed. But, oh my, everything was so good! Honestly, the best fried rice I have ever had! The XO noodle and the Malaysian flat noodles were also phenomenal! Really, you can't go wrong!
The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We ended up chatting for awhile, and even got some recommendations for stuff to do in the areal. And oh, how I wish we lived here, because I wish we had easier access to this amazing food!

It takes an hour for me to drive from Brisbane, but it's so worth it. Their roasted bbq pork buns and Shanghai panfried dumplings alone are worth the drive.

I wasn’t a fan of the yum cha because most of it was deep fried and oily. The Bok Choy was good though. We weren’t sure how it worked so we went in early, not realising there were many options and you pay individually. This wasn’t explained to us. So we filled up too fast. Based on the yum cha, I would give it 3 stars. The lunch special however was awesome. I had the spicy ‘chicken’ with rice and it was really tasty. I’d go back, but not for the yum cha. It was a little on the pricy side too.

This is easily the best vegetarian restaurant on the coast. Everytime I go the staff are lovely. The food is amazing. Tried so many things on menu and everything is amazing. The duck is *chef kiss* the dumpling menu is amazing.

We ordered the sweet and sour pork, lemon chicken, salt and pepper calamari and mixed veggie fried rice and all of the dishes were absolutely delicious. Sweet and sour pork was by far my favourite. All dishes came out night and hot plus the stuff and chef were fantastic with service and were all so happy. Highly recommend this restaurant. Thanks !

My meat-eating loved ones enjoy their dining experiences here just as much as I do, and a couple have even converted to enjoy their yum cha here instead of at other carnivorous establishments!

We were recommended to try easy house from a work colleague and oh my goodness were we grateful! The food was delicious, the service was friendly and genuine, so much flavour and so inexpensive! It's a very simple little family run restaurant, so don't expect it to look amazing, but what a great little place to eat😄HIGHLY recommend
