Family Owned Mexican Restaurant - Edit
Dorindo's has a very welcoming atmosphere, you'll likely be greeted by the owner, who is very friendly and accommodating.
Read moreThe place is decorated to the brim with skulls and brightly coloured sombreros, which is fun and a nice change of pace from other places, the decor and atmosphere definitely match the personality of the owner, who can be heard throughout the restaurant chatting to and laughing with customers, there's a very positive vibe to the place.
The food is great, everything vegetarian can be substituted with vegan cheese and sour cream, both of which are more than satisfactory. I believe they make their own vegan sour cream, and the cheese could have been any brand from a supermarket, both are gladly received as amongst the other ingredients they give just the right amount of creaminess you'd be missing otherwise.
The portions are very generous, the burrito I had was humungous, I honestly didn't know I could eat that much, and upon leaving the restaurant I couldn't imagine ever eating again, but as I write this i'm looking forward to my next visit.
I've never been to Mexico before, so i can't really comment on the authenticity of the place, but nevertheless it was some of the best Mexican food I've had.
