Perfection

The gyros were perfekt, with the best sauce and bread. The chicken style seitan was perfect. Great thanks to the awesome staff.

Always love doner summer

If you’re extremely hungry, this is your place to go. It is fully vegan and offers amazing foods, including fried chicken, kebabs and burgers.

Great vegan fast food

We are here on a rainy day in the middle of COVID restrictions but that couldn’t put a dampener on a great lunch.

Great takeaway

Great variety of junk food that's not just burgers. The *chicken* is a really good replacement. The chips are always great and really suit the dirty fries (don't go soggy).
Can't comment on the restaurant as I've only ever had takeaway.

Amazing comfort food

Ate here today and the staff were so lovely!
I haven't had a doner summer before and staff were so helpful to advise me on the menu, everything is 100% vegan

Best vegan chicken in town

If your craving fried chicken or Doner meat this is the greatest 100% vegan alternative. Both me and my husband eat here and love it.

Tasty fast food

Totally vegan kebab based foods and fabulous milkshakes, friendly and helpful staff, chilled out atmosphere. Great find for our day trip!

If there was more stars I'd give more!!

This was honestly one of the best things I've ever ate in my life!!!! So full full of flavour full and perfect textures of the 'chicken' . Cant praise this place enough I've been wanting to go here for ages!! If I had one in my town I'd waste all my money on it every week! I'll definitely be going here again soon!🤤

Brilliant and lots of it

Really loved this. Got the Bad Girl and chips and tater tots. Was awesome. Delivered by Deliveroo but cant seem to do it again.

Surprising

This is the closest thing I’ve tasted to a kebab since becoming vegan. I was not expecting such a tasty meal. I love this place and order regularly from here.

Awesome people, huge portions

What lovely people - Paul, Sam and the team made us feel really special. They are so passionate about their business, and that manifests as great service. The portions are enormous - we both had fried ch'cken dishes, my friend couldn't finish hers, I battled through and felt utterly stuffed! Good range of beers and soft drinks. And we were sent away with a bag of jelly sweets each! We had a lovely night, I'll definitely be back.

Don't Miss This Place

I found this place online before my visit and was not disappointed, the food is amazing. I had fried chick’n with chips which was great value for money and they gave me loads of fried chick’n. I ordered online for click and collect, which was really easy to use, but there are options to sit outside and eat. Definitely worth checking this place out as this is the best vegan food I’ve had from a restaurant.

Worth the trip

We first tried this when Döner Summer did a pop up at Docks Beers in Grimsby. So obviously we were thrilled when they opened a store in Hull. Well worth the trip across the Humber. Honestly some of the best vegan food I’ve had

Just what we needed

Found a table in the shade, fabulous spot for people watching.. They brought out some water immediately for my little pooch. Food consistently incredible, top-notch vegan scram! Only thing we’d say, ask for your flat bread on the side, otherwise it will come underneath everything and be a tad soggy. But praise where praise is due, eat here! You will not be disappointed! Good value for money, quality AND quantity

The one to beat!

Anyone who is vegan on The M62 corridor knows about Doner Summer.
The food is far superior at this branch and it has some of the best restaurant staff you could ask for.

Pros: Epic portions, Great view of The Minster
