Not a ton of options, but the vegan skillet was very good and a pretty big portion. Definitely recommend!

Delightful to find vegan options on the menu!!! And not just one choice, lots of choices 🥰 ordered the vegan skillet (available everyday before 1 PM) with corn tortillas and some Tapatío on the side!!! Delicious!! All of the meals looked great and the staff is super knowledgeable AND accommodating! Thank you for being amazing and providing options for everyone!!

Vegan Options - Edit
East County San Diego is typically a vegan food desert. I’m SO excited that Descanso Junction offers Vegan food. Located in a town known for ranchers and 4H clubs, they’ve broken the mold of food offerings in this region. My hope is visiting vegans will be kind and encouraging in spite of all the meat that is served. Perhaps their success with vegan options will encourage other nearby restaurants to follow suit?!
