Cuando alguien se aventura a montar un negocio con sello propio como aval, arriesga a que su nombre y reputación se vea dañada si no funciona. No es el caso de Gabriela Oltean y su Delicious Raw: una cafetería o pastelería en el centro de Brașov de carácter inigualable.
Read moreJamás pensé que en Rumanía me iba a encontrar con establecimientos veganos que cambiarían, en cierto modo, mi manera de ver el país. Punta de lanza durante mi viaje allí fueron varios restaurantes que probé, pero lo que realmente me llamó la atención fue encontrar una pastelería totalmente vegana y de tal calidad. No sólo la cantidad de variedad en tartas es lo que hizo estallar mi cabeza, si no que también se ofrece brownie, mousse, trufas, pequeños donuts, kombucha y como no podría ser de otra manera, café o chocolate a la taza, además de otras infusiones. Todo lo de esta lista, de una calidad superior en un obrador familiar que lidera Gabriela con mano exquisita. Tanto nos gustó el sitio, que volvimos en dos ocasiones para probar más tartas diferentes acompañado de un café y donde nos atendieron muy amablemente en inglés.
En definitiva, recomiendo mucho visitar esta pastelería si te encuentras por la zona. Sin duda, es una parada agradable, porque a día de hoy, es uno de los mejores obradores que he probado.

This was my first time trying raw cake and I was surprised by how good it was! My partner and I shared two different ones and both were amazing. The tiramisu cake is a must try! We each had some hot chocolate as well which was tasty and had lots of spices.

There are a lot of vegan choices and it was really hard to decide what to get! We opted for the chocolate sour cherry cake, the fruit cake, a red ball and a bounty bar. We enjoyed everything!

The vegan cheesecakes here are delicious and with interesting flavor combinations. The employee working when I stopped in offered to cut me small slices of any cakes that had already been cut so that I could try multiple flavors. I tried mango & sea buckthorn, blueberry & lavender, and raspberry & pineapple. The mango & sea buckthorn was my runaway favorite and I was glad I’d asked for a larger portion of it than the others. It was refreshing and less sweet just like the employee had said. Based on my and others’ recent experiences, it seems that they are using much less honey than they used to.

Great homemade choco - Edit
We were on a rush so we took the homemade chocolate to go. It was great, with nuts and dried fruits. We will come back to try the cakes because they all looked delicous.
