Indian Vegan Vegas necessity

Great find when we took a wrong turn looking for a different place. Inexpensive buffet, great flavors. Nice ambiance. Highly recommended

Pros: Many Vegan options, clearly labeled , Above average spice level, which is great, Indian baliwood musical videos, wife loves ‘em

Half the buffet is vegetarian

$20.50 for lunch buffet. Heavy on ghee and oil on all veggie dishes: Julab, butter cabbage, paneer Tikka masala, channa masala, a lentil bean mix, palak paneer, veggie rice, veggie egg rolls, samosas, fries, garlic naan. On the side were a little salad bar with lettuce, sauce, yogurt, picked veggies and melon fruit.

Plain rice, lentil bean mix and channa masala were apparently vegan. Channa masala lacked depth of flavor and sauce. The garbanzo beans were a little bland and undercooked. The lentil bean mix was heavy but tasted good enough to get seconds.

I cannot day for the veggie dishes but they looked heavy on ghee or oil. Also the veggie rice was really oily.

Service
Friendly service when you ask for anything but kind of laissez-faire and inattentive. Service would disappear or not make eye contact often to see if anything was needed.

Pros: Lots of vegetarian options

Cons: 2 vegan option excluding plain rice, Oily and heavy , Pricey if you just eat vegan

Brunch buffet is a good value

Enjoyed the Brunch Special buffet with bottomless champagne. There are enough vegan options to make it worth the trip and the food is tasty.

Pros: good value
