Vegan upscale dining experience in funky decor - Edit
My partner and I booked a dinner at Decimo for Christmas dinner. They were one of the few places open on Christmas night with good vegan options. Despite the high price tag, especially for the drinks which were not included in the set menu price, we were not disappointed.
Read moreThe food was really delicious, and the ambiance was great, surrounded by what seemed like other groups and couples who were not spending time with their families for the holiday. Despite working on a holiday, the servers were all very friendly as well, although, as another review states, at times difficult to flag down.
London has tons of vegan options, but finding an upscale, fully vegan meal can sometimes be difficult. This was such a gem to find for Christmas.
Pros: Upscale, delicious dining experience, Great atmosphere
Cons: Expensive, Service can be slow at times

5* food and setting - Edit
There are more than enough options here for a vegan meal, and to come back a few times to try the ones you didn’t order. We shared the bread and oil (too big for two people!) roasted red peppers (delicious), olives, leek and cabbage. The patatas are vegetarian but the aioli is served on the side so easy to share in a group with omnis or veggies and the potatoes are really good. Indeed all of the food was great-worth the extra couple of pounds for a better version of all of these things. The cocktails are pricey but also fantastic. Unfortunately the service didn’t live up to the food, there were ample staff but they often seemed to be stood waiting for things rather than serving anyone and we were often left trying to flag someone down. We sat at the bar which was great for the ambience and watching the bar tenders at work, but maybe didn’t help with the lack of service. All in all, it’s always nice to be able to enjoy vegan food easily at somewhere on the more premium end of things as it seems to happen so rarely. Worth a visit for sure, and if I heard the service had improved I’d come back again. Booking recommended, best visited in a group to try maximum dishes!
