Chips are chips you might think, but it's been a while since I've had chips so nice. The man who served me was extremely gregarious and accommodating; he asked me which sauce so I asked about vegan options and he just told me what he had: vegan mayo, ketchup, mustard, piccalilli, and something else that I didn't hear because I said "piccalilli?!" It's a bit sweeter than I'm used to as a Briton, but it's nonetheless absolutely spot on. The mayo doesn't blow the doors off or anything and the mustard is sort of standard smooth Dutch mustard, which I'm quite partial to as, as mentioned, a Briton. We went on the canal cruise and they let us take the chips onboard so it was a good time all round.
