Kind of rude owner - Edit
Wanted to have some lunch and drinks. There was a vegan latte maciatto with plant(amandel) milk on the menu. But when I asked the owner kept saying that the plant milk is toxic, all plantmilks were, so she no longer served those. Kept on insisting how toxic it is and she didn't back off. We left.
Read moreThey had no lunch dishes but they did have 2 or 3 main dishes on the menu, for like 18 euro. Don't know if she still serving these.

They had clearly labeled vegetarian and vegan options. I had a Mexican themed dish, which came with a smokey bean stew, a side of delicious garlic lentils with bulgur, a huge side salad with local veg and fruit, and fries. It was a lot!

I was fun to watch the machine launch the glider planes as we ate and had a few drinks.
This is also just off of a great bike path, so a good spot to take a load off on a hot day.

Cozy place with good food - Edit
Remotely located next to a small airfield where you can watch the planes. Offers five vegetarian dishes, three of which are vegan. I had the Mexican bean dish which came with steamed couscous, pickled eggplant and onion, and mixed vegetables in garlic oil. Everything was prepared well and tasted very good. For dessert they offer vegan chocolate ice cream which was also very good. The friendly owner makes everything herself, she clearly has a passion for cooking.

Mooie locatie in het bos om na een wandeling wat te drinken. Een kleinigheidje eten zat er niet in omdat ze maar slechts 2 Vegan gerechtjes serveren voor elk 18 euro. Aan de dure kant vind ik. Leuk om op het terras een drankje te doen.

I wasn’t too impressed. They only had about 3 vegan dishes. The one I picked was a Mexican dish with lentils, it was quite a lot and tasted good. However, it was pretty oily and a bit expensive.

Nice food in a nice area - Edit
The restaurant is located in the Schinveldse woods. You can go walking there. Outside seating is next to gliding field and that's something special.
Read moreThe food is great. Some delicious vegan options and even desserts (even ice cream). Staff is friendly and knows veganism.
Baked goods contain honey. You have to order vegan baked goods in advance.
There arne't that many vegan options in this area so my rating can be biased by this.
