Ontzettend gezellige en knusse plek om te zitten. Aardig personeel. Veel is vegan of te veganizen. Voor mij iets te heftig qua muziek, mag een tikkie zachter.

We did have to wait a while for our food because our order (for 5 people) was completely vegan and they had to prepare it separately. But this was no problem at all for us.

Sat outside for inside music was bit to beat/loud and the sound of people echoes too much. For lunch almost always full btw. Which means it is many people favorites.
Pros: Very tasty food: breads and cakes!, Cute place.

My grandmother and I visited this brunch restaurant a few days ago. It was a weekday, but quite busy (possibly because of summer break, but I’ve heard of more people mentioning this). You cannot book a table online. Indoor seating was closed, but luckily there were still a couple of spots available in the garden. However, most of those looked quite uncomfortable as the tables were quite low and we saw multiple people holding there plates. There was still space at the long picknick table so we decided to sit there. It took forever for someone to serve us, even though a waitress had let us to our table. We ordered drinks first because we hadn’t decided on our food yet, but didn’t get the chance to order it until the drink came out, at least 15 minutes later. I opted for a lemonade by Rozebunker that I’ve had at another spot before which was delicious, and chose the BBQ “chicken” toast as my main. It, again, took quite a while to come out, but was tasty. The vegan chicken was clearly by The Vegetarian Butcher, which is my favorite. I wouldn’t say the sandwich was super unique and they went a little overboard with the BBQ sauce, but I enjoyed my meal and the sourdough was very tasty. I’m planning on trying a cake or the toastie, but was craving some greens. I will be back, but only when it isn’t as busy/they are less understaffed.

There was a line queuing to get a seat. as it was Monday for lunch - and not many other places open on Monday, we just waited. It went fairly smooth, about 10 minutes wait.

A couple of vegan options/ menu items that can be ordered vegan. I wanted to order the toastie with vegan cheezes (since that is something you don't see on a menu every day), but unfortunately it was sold out... :-/
Food was nice, although the pizza (12,75€) wasn't really that special (pizza bread with some pesto, olive oil and a tomato salsa and I think baba ganoush. The sandwich with pulled 'chicken' was nice (13,75€)
Bit unhandy to eat on the bench outside (with a low table in front of us). Not comfortable.
Lovely looking pies and cakes inside, of which a couple are vegan.
Very friendly.

I also had a sandwich with pea pesto and vegan “goat” cheese. Absolutely amazing.
The owner was very kind and explained the Dutch menu for us.
Would love to go back and visit again.

Cosy, warm place in Zwolle - Edit
The restaurant is well-situated in the old city centre of Zwolle. The staff is very friendly. The vegan options, which are clearly indicated on the menu, consist of various cakes, sandwiches and soup. The cakes they offer are not (only) your regular 'veganized' cakes - like carrot cake - but also include other cakes with nuts and fruits. Great place to go to with both vegan and non-vegan friends alike!

Nice outdoor seating, friendly staff. Great assortment of locally grown/brewed food of drinks. Great tasting pan grilled avocado toast with non cocos tasting vegan cheese. Partner had the cold couscous salad which also very good. Finished with a surprise selection of vegan deserts.

Held fijne ochtend gehad met z'n vieren. Brunch (de luxe versie, ook wel high tea genoemd) met 2 hartige broodjes, 4 stukjes taart, stukje chocolade, koffie, smoothie en onbeperkt thee voor iets meer dan 32 euro! Goede deal voor zo'n leuke plek :)

I love the Gillende Keukenmeiden for a quick cup of coffee with a slice of amazing pie. The people that work there are the sweetest and would recommend them to people that don’t live in Zwolle.They have a few vegan pies and they switch every season, same goes for the lunch options. My favourite lunch option is mushroom slice of toast. A big bonus is that they serve vegan whipped cream.

The food is acceptable for a brunch, we actually wanted to have a proper lunch. The personnel is very friendly and well intended. We tried also the sweets, for my taste the carrot cake was haevy and to sweet.
