A small vegan (but mainly vegetarian) selection of dishes. To my "Vegan Lunch", animal butter was served, if I hadn't been so skeptical if I had eaten it & would have spent my vacation with a stomach ache ...so, yeah no. Not recommend it

Thankful that this restaurant offers vegan options in an area where those are scarce. Food was tasty but lacked depth of flavor. After a few bites of each dish (moussaka and curry korma), it tasted more of the same. That said the hemp dressing and vegan feta in the Greek salad was amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful in confirming what was vegan, but we did need to ask. For instance, despite telling them we were vegan and ordering the two vegan dishes on the menu, they brought out bread with butter and fries with non-vegan mayonnaise. After asking, they brought out vegan aioli for fries.

Wow what a wonderful restaurant! The staff really thought about helping with the vegan options! I went here multiple times and the starter varies, I had bao bao buns once and toast with mushrooms another time. Then as a main course a vegan beet burger with a delicious sauce, the other time I had a delicious curry!! Both with side dishes such as large onion rings with chili sauce and sweet potato fries with a vegan mayonnaise and truffle mayonnaise. As a dessert there isn’t much at the menu, but the staff really thinks with you, the first time I went here they especially made a sorbet with a raspberry and lime flavor with fresh fruit for me and the other time they made high tea cakes with raspberry sorbet which was amazing.

Vegan lunch genomen. Lekkere vegan kroket op brood met overheerlijke salade. Als bijgerecht zoete aardappelfrieten besteld en de medewerker vroeg direct of ik er dan ook vegan mayo bij wou.

Gisteren voor het eerst bij De Buurman geweest. We hebben verrukkelijke vegan Moussaka gehad en werden erg beleefd ontvangen door het personeel.

Nice vegan options! - Edit
For a meat oriented/grill room type of restaurant I was very pleasantly surprised by the amount of vegan options! On the menu it states which options can be made vegetarian, and the ones that are vegan say ‘vegan’.

The burger was nice, a bit dry though and not the best I’ve ever had, and quite expensive. My mom had the moussaka which was pretty good! Unlimited fries with the burger. The atmosphere was nice and cosy, we were able to sit outside!

Altijd als ik in de buurt ben vind ik wel even de tijd om hier oma bobs kroketten te lunchen 😄. Ook diner is zeer goed verzorgd en heeft toch nog wel wat keuze. De keuzes zijn ook allen erg lekker.

Super goed personeel en lekker biertjes! - Edit
Eerste keer heerlijk genoten van de (lokale) speciaal bieren de oma's Bob vegan bitterballen! (Die gratis waren door de stempelkaart) Tweede keer, terug gekomen om hier ook een hapje eten. Het personeel herkende ons nog, en was super vriendelijk! Ook het eten was goed en niet te duur. (Toast met champignons en vegan hamburger besteld)

Great food and amazing staff - Edit
We called upfront to make a booking and inform them we are both vegan. This was not a problem at all. When we got there, they had even printed a special vegan menu for is ♡ The waiter informed us they were looking into putting more vegan items on the menu, since they are getting more and more request. The food was delicious. My boyfriend took the beetroot carpaccio and burger and was very impressed. I took the buddha bowl and ratatouille with vegan feta. Yum! I highly recommend this place, as the staff is incredibly friendly, the chef is creative and flexible and the food is delicious!
