I’ve recently discovered Dark and Light in Mt Dora, FL. So many vegan options and I especially enjoy the vegan Alfajor dessert because it melts in your mouth and is not very sweet. I’ve also tried the vegan spinach and empanadas. Everything is homemade and very satisfying. Highly recommend!!

Everything we had was so delicious, and I cannot recommend this place enough if you are in mount dora. We shared the bruschetta (I think the best I’ve ever had) and the yucca bites. For entrees we had the black bean burrito, eggplant sandwich and chickpea salad bowl. There is nothing negative we could say about anything- it was all delicious! 10/10

Only vegan and 5 omnis and everyone loved their meals. I got the eggplant sandwich and OH EMM GEE, so flavorful. We had many dishes, smoothies, coffees, desserts. Everything better than the last.

So many clearly labeled vegan options. I sought it out after seeing the good reviews on here. It’s really hard to find vegan food in the area and I’m so glad this place exists! I had the eggplant panini and it was delicious. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

We just had lunch here and the food was fantastic. It starts with friendly service. The portions are huge and everything tasted fantastic. Lots of wonderful special details like spiralized beets in the salad. A total five-star experience!

Very sweet little eatery with wholesome homemade vegan dishes. Carlos and Rosanna are very sweet. We had the yucca appetizer, a meatless empanada, an Impossible burger with roasted potatoes and a jackfruit quesadilla. Everything was delicious. We will definitely go back! #Veganuary

So pleased to have found Dark and Light Cafe. Delicious vegan and vegetarian food and super friendly Argentinian-warm service! Lots of indoor (cool) and plant-surrounded outdoor seating. We ate a black-bean quinoa quesadilla, avocado toast, and a cinnamon roll - all amazing. Highly recommend- just don't make it too crowded for us to return. 😉

The vegan empanadas are delicious and affordable. The vegan Alfajor is THE best dessert I've had in a long time. Worth the hour drive I take just for that and the coffee. The owners are very nice and accommodating.
