Absolutely amazing Resturant - Edit
We had a fantastic family dinner at Darbster. The variety and the quality of the food is amazing. We have yet to have anything on the menu that is not the best vegan dish in any restaurant I’ve been to. The staff are all super cool and super friendly. Can’t recommend this place enough. You’ll not be disappointed.

The Darbster is incredible. the palm cakes tastes just like crab cakes, and the chicken Parm and fettuccine Alfredo tastes just like my mom's Italian cooking - but better because it's vegan!! staff is extremely sweet and ambiance is on point. try this place, give em some business, you WILL NOT be disappointed. pro tip: brownie a la mode to top it all off.

Second chances… We went from Meh to WOW!! - Edit
Our first experience with Darbster was during the height of COVID so playing it safe we did curbside pickup. Admittedly the distance our meals had to travel back to our house probably lead to an unfair review the first time. For our second visit we had brunch on their patio. The staff and service was exceptional. The food was incredible. Best tasting cheesesteak I’ve had since I was a carnivore and we absolutely loved the sweet potato fries with the paprika aioli. The black and blue burger with tempeh bacon was done perfectly as well. Darbster, you’ve won us back!

This is easily one of my favorite vegan restaurants and one of the best for a nice dinner where you are looking for ambiance. However, they can’t be counted on for a special occasion if it’s a holiday such as Valentine’s Day. My boyfriend and I had a 6:45 reservation for Valentine’s Day and waited about 30 minutes to be seated. That was fine and understood, and we were patient and understanding, and even given a free glass of champagne. Once we were seated, it felt like we were forgotten about. We weren’t approached by anyone for the next 20 minutes, not even to take our drink order or to apologize for the long wait. If we were at least acknowledged, it would have made all the difference. My boyfriend and I ended up leaving because it so insulting to wait for so long and watch tables being cleaned to get ready to seat other patrons, but have no one approach us. It seems like it may have been an overwhelming demand from delivery services such as Uber eats because the amount of people in the restaurant didn’t make it make sense as to how people with reservations were put so far on the back burner. It seemed like all the other people in the restaurant were upset with the service, the vibe spoke for itself. I am so reluctant to leave a negative review given how fantastic this restaurant is, but it truly ruined our Valentine’s Day and as I said, being acknowledged after being seated would have made a huge difference.... we wouldn’t have felt like our only option was to leave.

Pear, “Gorgonzola” salad was tasty, cheese was a little hard, but good taste.
Daily special a hero sandwich with homemade sausage was good, subtle flavors but tasty.
The Black and Bleu burger was great, this is not an impossible or beyond meat (which can be good), but this is a home made bean burger with beats and black beans. Delicious
Cheesecake was really good, except for the burnt crust.

I was visiting WPB from out of town and was happy I found this gem! they had so many options it took me a while to order. I got the BBQ Sliders and Fettuccine Alfredo; both were great.

We stumbled on Darbster's about 2 years ago and what a great find! A wonderful menu of vegan delites and good service. There's outside dining if you like along a canal waterfront. It's even pet friendly in a designated outside area. There's also a great collection of RAW foods for those interested. The "Flax Tomato Sandwich" is one of my favorites. But the BEST was a special NY Style Pinapple Cheese cake! The VERY BEST EVER cheesecake! The service was pleasant, professionally personal, but varies from OK to outstanding.

This restaurant is something special. It has the warmest atmosphere, the most beautiful eclectic meals made with intention, and the best part is that it is a non-profit that donates all of its funds towards neutering and spaying dogs. Their vision is to make West Palm Beach a no-kill city and they are putting their money where there mouth is. I had been dining at darbster for 3 years already, until I learned this fact and am now inspired to leave reviews on every review platform I can find! You can feel about your gut, your health, the environment, and being a conscious consumer.

The food was AMAZING! So yummy! The first time we ordered the nachos and eggplant scallops. It was so amazing we went back the next night. We ordered nachos again, palm cakes, and the hummingbird cake for dessert. The restaurant is nice and bit fancier than the average casual restaurant. We sat outside on the patio both nights and had a blast. Service was great too!

The ambiance def is a 4 stars...service was good but not great. I left all my food on the plate and the server didnt care to ask why i didnt eat my food not even once. My friend also left half of his food...my girl friend ate all her food so her zuchini pasta was delicious but the mashed potatoes i ordered tasted like frozen potatoes and they just heated it up. my friend's burger was also average actually a little less than average he ate half but couldnt finish. I was actually surprise to see they have so many 5 star reviews.
