Super Sunday dinner - Edit
Had a delicious nut roast with roast potatoes, veg and gravy. Also had seitan skewer option but we all went for nut roast. Dessert was a melon meringue or sorbet. Food and service were excellent and lovely surroundings.

Beautiful setting and well thought through delicious vegan options. Seasonal menu changes regularly. Always one 100% vegan main course and dessert.

Read moreThe first was for dinner at their restaurant. I took my parents for a treat. It was fancy and pricy. I liked my food but it was nothing to “write home about” and (at the time) I really only had one option. The dessert I remember enjoying the most (blood orange chocolate cake or something)
I’ve gone for their Woodford pizza twice now.
The first time for pizza none of us were impressed. Not me with my cheese free uninspired vegan pizza, nor my meat eating family members.
The second time was last night and all of us enjoyed our food. I asked about vegan options and the chef showed me violife cheese (my fave!!!) and said he could add whatever they had. I ended up with stone-baked violife cheese pizza with mushrooms and olives. It was lovely.
Had we had the first chef I might not have gone back so with the pizzas it is hit and Miss.
the village is lovely and my parents live near so I’m sure we’ll be back again. #Veganuary
