Vegan friendly - Edit
A few vegan options on the menu including gluten free. Very tasty, fresh and imaginative dishes. They also sell jars of their vegan pesto & pickles. It’s worth going just for the pesto. Lovely friendly & welcoming staff. Dogs were welcome inside and out.

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere but meal was poor - Edit
Fantastic staff and great atmosphere, but I had a risotto which was underseasoned and bland. The menu seems to be smaller than it used to be with less choice which is a shame.

Nice place. Food not great. - Edit
I had vegetable curry which was hot, tasteless and undercooked. The potato was inedible. The rice was not indian basmati and it was served bizarrely with two pieces of toast. Crofters is a great wee pub and often has live music but they need to improve the food. It's not cheap either. My very small curry was £13.50. My friend's falafel burger was £12.50. I will go back and try again sometime as they have at least thought about vegans when drawing up the menu. However, for now, sorry chef, can't give you more than two stars. The coffee is ok and soya latte/cappuccino is available.

Delicious! - Edit
Such a sweet little place, really nice vibe. Recommend booking as it’s busy! They do live music most nights. They do vegan nachos which were delicious! We had the curry and the falafel burger which were both tasty, really good considering there’s not much vegan food on Arran compared to the mainland.

Nice atmosphere, food hit & miss - Edit
Nachos were nice with vegan cheese, beans, guacamole. Vegan version of the veggie burger was a bit dry. They do have some other vegan items that might be tastier. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Small, so smell from non veggie dishes are difficult to ignore. Music most days (apart from Tuesday and Thursday). Booking ahead for dinner advisable.
