Best Vegan Creole Food Ever - Edit
Me and my husband have been visiting Lake Charles and were having problems finding Vegan food that isn't your typical side dishes, salad, etc.

We ate everything in about 5 minutes and were fighting over the Louisiana Buger 🤣This food tastes like it was made with love and soul and Taylor has such a beautiful personality! You must come here💕

I got the fried fish and grits. Grits were by far without question the best dang grits I've ever had! I could've just had those and been perfectly happy. The fried fish was hearts of palm, which sounds kinda blah, but holy moly the seasoning was spot on, lemony and nicely fried.

Creole Vegan!!!! - Edit
This place did not disappoint. The entire menu is vegan. The boudin balls are absolutely delicious!!! Everything I’ve had from there was outstanding. The owners are the most lovely people and are so personable. If you are ever in the LC and want amazing authentic creole food, this is the place.

My sister and I came out to Lake Charles, LA from Los Angeles, CA. We ordered street tacos, eggplant parmesan, the jalapeño cheddar burger, the pulled “pork” egg rolls, the buffalo “chicken” egg rolls, and the peach cobbler egg rolls. The food was insanely delicious. It’s truly some of the best vegan food we’ve ever had. We’ve been vegan for three years now but our Creole non-vegan parents also loved EVERYTHING. The owners Taylor and Johnny were very gregarious and hospitable. I can’t wait to return to Louisiana for more vegan Creole food.

Wow 👀 whether you are vegan or just curious. If you are in Louisiana you need to come down to Lake Charles and get fed by Creole Hidden Garden! This was my first time trying CHG and it was the best thing I ate in Louisiana! I’m from California and came to Louisiana to visit family. I was pleasantly surprised to find an all vegan food truck right in Lake Charles. I basically ordered the menu and everything was bomb. The street tacos are spicy and loaded to the max. The jalapeño cheddar burger tasted creole and is the BEST burger I’ve ever ate! Then I had the eggplant parmigiana and damn is it amazing 🤤. I also got the egg rolls (Buffalo “chicken”, pulled “pork”, and the peach cobbler) all of them were packed with flavor. Taylor and Johnny cook to order so it’s hot and flaky. Not only is the food delicious but the owners make you feel like family.

Lake Charles is lucky to have these folks. Food obviously made with care. Amazing burgers and the homemade ice cream…. Dang. So good.
