If you’re driving through Bishop, add this stop to your itinerary. It’s got a cute little market and they have a separate plant based menu. We had a couple tacos (chicken and carnitas) and burrito (chicken). The jackfruit carnitas was incredible!

Amazing plant based tacos/burritos in “street taco” style. Plus a selection of prepared tropical fruits in convenient size. Large array of bottled drinks and nice Mexican grocery items. Clean restroom, patio seating. Just great!

Great vegan taco trio and burrito - Edit
We stopped here on our way home from Mammoth after charging in town. They have a few vegan options. We had the taco trio (with one of each type of vegan taco) and the burrito with jackfruit carnitas. Both were delicious. They have a nice patio as well which is dog friendly.

I’ve been wanting to try this place and finally made the stop. It’s in a great location I got the vegan trio tacos plate with 2carnitas and 1chiken taco. The vanilla matcha is not sweet so I was happy with the flavor. Going to be a new stop for us regularly.

The vegan tacos were quite delicious though I don't love that they were pricier than the regular tacos and yet so simple. Still quite delicious though. Wish there were more options but hey I'll take it these tacos were really really yummy, better tasting vegan proteins than most other taco places

There were 3 taco choices for vegans and I chose “chicken” and jackfruit. They were extremely delicious! The guacamole was also very tasty.

I would give 5 stars but happy cow won't allow that since this place is not full vegan.We have been vegan for 30 years. Been driving through Bishop for 12 years and usually get some lame meal at Taco Bell. Not any now! This place wow OMG the best tacos! The vegan carnitas tacos are ridiculously good.. Did not even need salsa or any additional sauce. I had the trio with rice and beans. My husband had the trio with the Verde tacos which were good but not as good as the carnitas. We went to get even more to go but the restaurant was closed. Now we are dreamng of our ride back home so we can stop and eat here again. The rice and beans are good but next time I'll just get 5 tacos. Best Jack fruit I've ever had and my favorite tacos ever.

The plant based tacos were delicious! We substituted the refried beans (with lard) with whole beans in the veggie burrito. And fresh strawberries for dessert! Excellent food, great service! Very reasonable prices!

I had the trio of vegan tacos, and they were all amazing. Literally the best vegan Mexican I’ve had. They still use lard in the refried beans, so you have to get the pinto beans and rice, but all was very good.

So happy to have found this cute spot on the drive home from Lake Tahoe. Plant-based menu and vegan tacos! The better part of this find was eating the vegan tacos — I got one of each of the 3 options — and whoa! They are FRESH and DELICIOUS! The salsa is amazing and tastes like they just made it. I had the spicy red salsa and the green tomatillo. Both fantastic! A must try when driving through Bishop. Great patio dining area. The grocery section is super clean and everything is fresh. They also have plant-based milks and takeout grocery items.

Fruit and tacos - Mexican snacks that pass as vegan. Chicken vegan taco was my fave. Verde taco wasn’t worth it (just guac and veggies). Carnitas was too seasoned IMO. Chicken and red salsa was my fave.

Great vegan burrito!! It has always been a struggle to find hearty plant-based food when coming out of the mountains on the 395. This will be our stop from now on (and/or a smoothie from the Eastside Juice Bar!). Thank you for having vegan options!
